For those who are wondering, To Build A Home by The Cinematic Orchestra, is featured on his great return Mt. Kangchenjunga , starting at 36:31, and we understand now the raw power and magnitude of the song, building a home, triumphing, finding himself. It is magnificent. Thank you to Vice for another astounding documentary, capturing the beauty and sadness of a person whose story is totally, heartbreakingly inspirational. "This is a place where I don't feel alone. This is a place where I feel at home."
Worth noting that Joe Brown, who achieved the first ascent of Kanchenjunga 65 years ago, was also only 24. He stopped short of the summit because the peak was considered sacred.
I just read about that last week in Pete Bonnington's book "The Climbers". I have the photo of him standing just short of the summit, respecting the sacred peak. Cassin, Bonatti, Messner could eat this kid for lunch.

It's really incredible to see that a guy who hails from lowlands and has no specialized endurance or stamina training climbed up so many summits only with an advanced level rock climbing Training .I salute the mental strength and willpower of that guy.

@@StoryWithAhmad Have you attempted to summit any mountain in Pakistan? K2 is one of the toughest after Annapurna as i heard. I hope to see the beautiful Hanza valley once.
Wow Arjun is the man! Such an amazing human. It has been a dream of mine to be able to summit one of the 8,000ers. But I doubt I’ll ever have the money to do it. Maybe someday I’ll win the lottery. What an overwhelming feeling that would be to be on the top of one of those mountains....
@@travellermani3337 I don’t know but google probably does. The permits are expensive for all the Himalayas. It depends if you’re going with a team or not and what supplies you need.
Mountain climbing is indeed a game of endurance and courage ,this is very risky ,a climber risks his/her life and goes beyond his limits ,recent incident at K2 where 3 mountaineers are missing proves it
Respect to you ... really you are true mountaineer who passion is to summit the highest peak of Himalayas..you are out of this world a great great respect to you sir.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Just remember there's more important things than climbing mountains. Love is the key to eternal life! God bless you on your adventures!
Congrats bro and hope u are more thankful to SHERPAS the real heroes without whom climbing wouldnt hab been possible and u wouldnt hab been alive today and i being a part of those sherpa area if u can help those sherpa family whose family are living without their husband father son jus for u climbers 😘
It is the reality , so we have accept but even mountainers also gives their best to achieve the summit , not everyone can just climb the mountain by just using the ropes ,it needs dedication, years to training and many sacrifices , so they also need the credits 👍
This isn’t fair. You think the same Sherpa affix all the ropes from top to bottom? No - they divide those duties because they aren’t superhuman either and only the top Sherpa climbers work ropes and guide at the very top. Of course Sherpa climbers should be praised, but they are part of a team and themselves have great respect for the sorts of climbers like this guy, taking years to reach multiple 8000 meter peaks, but you call them jokes?
There are many videos on him already on RUclips. The thing is Nima dai is a ex armyman of British special forces but that guy is a regular guy with no background of hardcore endurance or stamina training. Yet he nailed that many number of mountains with only basic Rock climbing training from an Indian mountaineering school.
Every person has their heroic stories but real heroes are Sherpas. Much respect for them.

"Sherpas" unsung heroes of mountains
For those who are wondering,
To Build A Home by The Cinematic Orchestra, is featured on his great return Mt.
I hope India Pak relationship improves and he can do K2
Worth noting that Joe Brown, who achieved the first ascent of Kanchenjunga 65 years ago, was also only 24. He stopped short of the summit because the peak was considered sacred.
Judge Joe Brown
I just read about that last week in Pete Bonnington's book "The Climbers". I have the photo of him standing just short of the summit, respecting the sacred peak. Cassin, Bonatti, Messner could eat this kid for lunch.
@@heathcliff8624 what about nirmal purja?who climbed all the 8000 meter peaks with in 7 months..he climbed Everest lotshe and makalu in 5 days,he could eat them for breakfast.
@@anizrokr4722 True. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
You still don't step on the summit of Kanchenjunga.
I think back to when I was the strongest and fittest in my life and some of the high risk sports I did and I know one thing for sure. I would never even attempt high altitude climbing. These people, Sherpas and their clients, are at another level which never ceases to amaze me.

Arjun's life story is so inspiring, I think I'm gonna start hiking. At 35y of age not mountaineering, no, but we have hills where I live. I'm gonna start with buying a good pair of tour shoes.
Great film. If anyone wants to know more about the history of Kanch, I've just written a book 'The Last Great Mountain', available on amazon now
Maybe I’ll check it out!
More power to you man! May you summit the rest of them as well.

It's really incredible to see that a guy who hails from lowlands and has no specialized endurance or stamina training climbed up so many summits only with an advanced level rock climbing Training .I salute the mental strength and willpower of that guy.
Proud of you man..!!! You are just Incredible..!!!

How much it will cost?
@@travellermani3337 tens of thousands of dollars.
@@kayla1245768 how much it will cost for nanda Devi peak. It is within india
@@travellermani3337 I don’t know but google probably does. The permits are expensive for all the Himalayas. It depends if you’re going with a team or not and what supplies you need.
@@travellermani3337 It will cost you close to 50,000 dollars.
Respect for the man who is holding the camera and shooting the video
Mountain climbing is indeed a game of endurance and courage ,this is very risky ,a climber risks his/her life and goes beyond his limits ,recent incident at K2 where 3 mountaineers are missing proves it
This guy is crazy about his pain he has tht madness of winning this guy can conquer anything
Respect to you ... really you are true mountaineer who passion is to summit the highest peak of Himalayas..you are out of this world a great great respect to you sir.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

This video deserves much much more views.
You’ve just inspired an 22 year old who wants to be a singer-songwriter.
Incredible! And super inspiring.
he didnt say it but thank you sherpas, for keeping this bro safe
he said it once while coming back from mount everest...
He said I owe my life to that sherpa who saved him . Look carefully. By the way Sherpas already got thanked by the huge money he paid.
Arjun Sir🔥🔥🔥
What a lovely young man He could teach classes on how to live lifeLola Australia
This is the 31th time I am watching this....!!! But still I didn't get bored at a single point throughout the whole video
lots of respect to arjun for his sheer determination. And the title of video is really inspiring .

Thanks for the motivation for us all to get out there (in life) and follow our passions....
What a great story very moving so glad you made it out alive.Any plans for K2 ?
He cant attempt K2. He is trying for years but its a dead end.
K2 is not possible for Indians since its in Pakistan🤣🤣🤣..getting a visa itself would be a nighmare..
There is 2 type of people
One who feel fear second who feel thrilled
Congrats bro and hope u are more thankful to SHERPAS the real heroes without whom climbing wouldnt hab been possible and u wouldnt hab been alive today and i being a part of those sherpa area if u can help those sherpa family whose family are living without their husband father son jus for u climbers 😘
Arjun bro this gave me a perspective.
Sherpa's pave the way, without them these guys are jokes
Exactly, without those ropes, they would never get there.
Can you climb any?
@@sidradzz Yes, I can. No what?
Mothers are special. I would go to all ends for her.
What a motivation you are brother , those last words really hits any couch potato to do more everyday 👏🏽

Sherpas.. Sherpas and Sherpas
Hats off to them... Greatest climbers ever..

Oh Boy! You are such an inspiration. I don’t think any words can express how you journey has motivated me and others :)

Make interview of Nima’s dai
There are many videos on him already on RUclips. The thing is Nima dai is a ex armyman of British special forces but that guy is a regular guy with no background of hardcore endurance or stamina training. Yet he nailed that many number of mountains with only basic Rock climbing training from an Indian mountaineering school.
wow !! Truly Inspirational.
Inspirational Arjun!!
