Scourge concept art actually resembles tarn a lot. It’s purple and even has a decepitcon logo instead of a terrorcon one which makes me think tarn was supposed to be in rotb or scourge was going to be a deceptcon Edit: now I’m not actually saying that scourge was going to be tarn in rotb this video just reminded me of that concept art.
@@tyrannicalsaur The concept artist said they just used a Decepticon mask cause Scourge's mask design wasn't finished yet, confirming Scourge was never suppose to be Tarn or Bayverse Prime, just his own character as a homage to G1 and RID Scourge.

For clarification, Tarn was never actually considered for the film. The designers simply used his apperance as a placeholder for ROTB concept renders before they were given the concept art of Scourge's design.
It’s not so much how awesomely brutal his death was but the fact he removed Bumblebees Autobot Symbol is what made it more powerful and amazing. Like I legit felt the pain as soon as removed that off of him

Instead of collecting T-cogs from his victims, he's now collecting their emblems. Would make sense if tarn collected emblems from other cons, because the DJD hunts and kills deception traitors/deserters.

By shooting then in the left eye of their insignia with a bullet that contained vital intel on Decepticon activity. That is until the DJD discovered the mole and domesticated him. Which in Cybertronian context means they reduced him into a feral animal.

I think Nemesis Prime should have been the one to be killed by Optimus Prime but since Scourge had a mask like Tarn and since he is a Zealot to the Decepticons and Megatron (just like Scourge and a few versions of Nemesis Prime/Black Convoy are to Unicron) it does make sense the recreation, besides I always wanted to see a fight between Optimus and Tarn (unlike in Cyberverse) from either a movie, comic or video game, so good job dude

Maybe it was Tarn all along, only to be renamed Scourge. Remember, Unicron has the habit to reformat his minions, so it may well be that when he took on "Scourge" as his herald, he was originally Tarn. In fact that's the way I see it now, Megatron to Galvatron, Skywarp or Shrapnel as Cyclonus and Armada (?), Thundercracker and some other insecticon as Sweeps and another Scourge. So in ROTBs, Tarn into Scourge.
Who’s crazier between the two of them ? First we have Scourge a maniac who takes his enemies Symbols as trophies! Then we have Tarn a sicko that tortures his victims then takes there transforming-cogs to indulge his addiction to Transforming! That aside this scene recreation is awesome !
