@@justinbush4482 I believe when I said that 4 months ago, I meant it because it's sesame street, and muppets is now a separate thing. Yes, kermit was on it for a bit, but not anymore.
It's hilarious that Elmo said Antonia's cookies looked like cow chips!!! But he's so cute that it didn't sound like an insult.

Exactly, I’m glad they even brought Telly out in the first place.
Just recently found out Telly was introduced as a television obsessed monster who wouldnt go anywhere further than his TVs extension chord.
When Telly yelled "RUUUUN!!!" I lost it.
As an adult I find I relate to his anxiety.

The fact that cookie monster had Elmo and telly trying to calm him down made me laugh too much he was like COOKIE COOKIE COOKIE COOKIE

@@bryannaing6316 : You are talking about a muppet. The laws of muppet world don't go with actual reality. The fur isn't attached to anything. It is just fleece sown together so the fur is its skin.

I mean, I don't know. There's this thing going around with people putting zucchini in baked goods. Seen a couple of recipes for zucchini cakes and brownies. Wouldn't be surprised if they pulled off a zucchini cookie.
Zucchini chocolate chip cookies. Then both elmo and cookie monster can be happy. I made them a few times and they tasted super chocolatey.
I would have done a carrot cake style cookie with chocolate chips

There are stories of muppets going on TV shows and the crew being confused as to why the sound from their mics was terrible… until they realized they put the mic on the muppet, not the puppeteer 😂 it’s way easier to forget about the guy behind the table than you think!
Hearing Elmo insult Antonia's cookies had me rolling on the floor 🤣 first time I saw this!
This has to be the first time I ever heard Elmo say cow chips, as well as the first time someone said a swear word in front of him and his friends.

I have laughed for 2 solid minutes at the hard pan to Swanson chicken stock at 1:03 in the cookie challenge. Don’t ask why… I don’t know it’s just hilarious.
I thought the same thing! Chicken stock in a ...cookie?
It was almost like ‘this isn’t actually stock, it’s a mystery ingredient that would make the perfect cookie but hiding in plain sight’ even though that’s never a thing in cooking shows

I love how none of the chefs are able to contain their joy. It’s almost impossible to interact with these characters without a smile. They’re fictional yet so endearing.
Telly Monster, Cookie Monster and Elmo are most certainly not "FICTIONAL" - cor blimey, let the entire world know you are from the states and not very intelligent...a fictional character is one only exists in fictional works; as you can Telly, Cookie and Elmo EXIST...you can see them on the screen can you not??? buy a bigger helmet...

@retroflashbackdude Marty Robinson (Telly's puppeteer) wrote a blog about it, and yes, that's exactly how it went down. The puppets can't touch the actual cookies, because the oil would damage their fur, so they had to shoot the monsters eating the cookies with fake props later.

The "Thyme" joke is magnificent.
So I’m assuming the puppeteers actually did taste the cookies and they somehow had to eat them and express their real opinions about them while keeping the voices and characters going…yes I know there was a lot of editing involved to make that process seem smoother than it actually was, though it would have been hilarious to watch how that really played out. In any case those guys are geniuses.
If it’s a cookie contest I’d be more scared of the Cookie Monster than Gordon Ramsey.
