That is crazy!! They broke into your car & told you figure out how to drive it back . Oh & the insurance you bought doesn’t cover the one thing that happened😭😭
I went to Mexico City for the first time 3 months ago. It was so beautiful. However, the altitude was awful for me. I'm young in great shape & hit the ground running, but by the 4th day, I was a mess. Headache, nausea/vomiting & intense fatigue. I had to see a dr & get O2 & meds. It took a week to recover once i made it back home. So please be aware.
I really appreciate you sharing your experience. It's super helpful for others who may not be aware of how altitude can affect them. Wishing you many more beautiful adventures ahead!
Thats wild that insurance didnt cover the window! sorry that happened but ultimately, glad everyone was safe! also, as a Mexican, I love hearing people talk about their favorite foods and pozole and mole are just sooooo good and some of my favorites too. And that restaurant where you had tamales sounds great too! We had some delicious street food while we were there. Mexico City is such a gem!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It means a lot to hear from someone who knows the culture and food so well. Mexico City truly is a treasure and so happy to see you guys down there again. There is so much that this city has to offer!
Great video,I look forward to seeing what places you visit next! Not cool about the rental. I'm a dual US/MX citizen and stay away from renting cars because the rental cars are easy targets. Every country is different and Mexico is one country where I avoid rental cars because there are too many issues. I have been to the Cancun area and Mexico City and found the Mexico City prices to be much more affordable and great value than compared to the Cancun region. But I prefer urban areas than beach destinations. Everyone has their preferences. Mexico City is one of those places that it warrants more than one visit. 🎉
I really appreciate your insights! It’s so true that every country has its quirks, and I’m glad you found Mexico City to be a great value. Now I know better about the rental cars. Thanks for watching and for your support!
OMG I bet they didn't actually insure you, but scammed you completely. And if the fine print says they don't cover theft, that's one thing but theft is not what happened to you. The windows got smashed. Nothing was "stolen". That's some BS. I hope you leave them an honest review! I'm sorry that happened to you guys!
Thank you so much for your kind words! It really helps to know that others understand the situation. I will definitely leave an honest review! They really were the worst but we made the best of the situation.
i think they scammed you, i'm from Mexico and its strange that someone broke your window without stealing anything. Probably they have a gps and they did it on purpose. if they charged you with a small car reader, this can be bough in the Oxxo's and probably the money went to the employee.

How much did the street tacos cost?
On our next video we will have a price breakdown of everything. I forgot off the top of my head!
Would you relocate to any of the countries you have visited so far?
Haha we love the comfort of living in the US, we love to vacation at other places but love the ability to come back to a home base.
Would you relocate due to WW III concerns?
Haha no we enjoy our lives in the USA
