The warmer months in Mexico City are not summer. Summer is the rainy season and temperatures decrease. The warmer months are late March, April and May.

Yes, mine did not provide water so I just purchased a very large bottle (not multiple small bottles) at the OXXO for convenience. This is my recommendation.

I've been to CDMX 8X. I stayed in Zona Rosa at Hotel Geneve and Hotel PF. Easy walk to the metro.

Hotels supply bottled agua in the room. If not, many 7-11 and OXXO's will have them.
