Many years ago, I strongly suggested to 4 Non-Cuban dancers who had no idea what to do or HOW with pirouettes, to go to the "Cuban Boot Camp", in Havana. In time, they each travelled to the famous CUBAN SCHOOL, which Mikhail Baryshvikov rated as the 3rd world class. When I saw them onstage again later in their careers, they had conquered their fear of turning, and after their visits to the Cuban School their careers changed and their love for ballet increased because they could be FREE of tensions between the steps and enjoy performances. Because of privacy issues I don't name them, but when you see them pirouette, the educated audience KNOWS it's the Cuban School. What in particular stands out to me and astonishing really is how high in demi Pointe the Cubans turn and able to do unimaginable flourishes in combination like OSIEL GOUNOU, the legendary SARABIA, and Jose Manuel Carreno.
Around 1:30, was that a *triple* tour??? That and the guy doing 5 or 6 tours in second from one preparation were highlights for me (also the two guys mirroring each other), but what brilliant technique and control they all have. The most tours in second I've seen in performance was 4 (Patrick Dupond POB and Damien Woetzel NYCB) and those were bar-setting in their time.
I've seen videos of Korean guys doing the same thing, but more obviously showing off for each other. And they wear a lot less clothing. This is testosterone put to a VERY good use!

I think Carlos Acosta inspired many of them. These guys are amazing. Even Russia does not have such male dancers. They are the best.

No, it was a double. Run the video at a 50% or less and you'll see.
