i'd respectfully move them to an area outside the city and respectfully jail them as necessary. given the resources available, i have not one doubt i could reduce homeless by half in six months, but it might offend some SJW saviour-o'-the-universe who's more worried about their own personal feewings more than law and order and protecting the community at large, people who don't have to worry about their child around this situation.
these 'leaders' have no plan other than to raise taxes and line pockets while making zero real progress towards resolution.

@@gravelbillyone9466 I do! I had a relative with mental health history that was in a mental asylum a few times. The individual is a very good person and after time in a mental institution the person has been back to normalcy. Sometimes what triggered the person's mental breakdown could be work stress, or nowadays social media oversaturation. We need to give funding to pick the best professionals to treat folks so they can be self reliable, independent people that can take care of themselves. It is not only sending folks to mental asylums, they need support from volunteers, friends and family. Allow me to elaborate, if someone instead of offering a lot for people to camp, do a survey on who can be allowed, for instance, folks that work and cannot afford to pay for rent, vis a vis a person that is panhandling for drugs or has a history of mental illness. These two need some sort of professional help, as they can put themselves in danger in the long run, due to poor hygiene, or self medication, or infection by sharing syringes. A mental asylum allow them to get the treatment they need at moments notice, and folks that could otherwise have to give them a lot to sleep the night they can come in to pay their treatment, or just have a chat with them.

Is there any room for explanations between the hyperbolic extremities of "they don't want to work," "it's all mental illness/addiction," and "they could do it if they really wanted to"? One possible explanation is that they couldn't originally find a job for their specific skill set, and from there, found themselves in a feedback spiral of incapability and narrowing options by the day. Above all else, I'd say use your imagination. Basing your opinion on your own idiosyncratic Horatio Alger mindset of pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps requires not only engendering psychologically, but also many contingent circumstances most of us can't even begin to enumerate. Psychologically, materially, physically.
It's important to have empathy for people that have different situations than your own, and to understand why some things may not come as easily to others as it does for you - we all come from completely different places.
Beyond that, remember that anyone that doesn't realize self-actualization and solvent mental productivity is inherently suffering. No one, deep down, actually wants to be in these types of dependent positions.

Homelessness and credit default is built into a Debt-Based Monetary System. Reform the money and we will have less financial failure in society and more equatable distribution of wealth. Monetary Reform however is not allowed in Poli-tic debate sense Ron Paul ran for president.

No shame in being poor. But it's not a reason to be dirty and piggy. Majority of drug abusing "homeless" while living on public or private property don't appreciate efforts to help. Otherwise they'd cooperate and do the minimum to pick up after themselves.
No PRIDE regarding their living conditions. They TRASH the area, refuse to clean up after themselves. Being destitute doesn't mean you're unable to throw your trash away properly. They throw it anywhere and everywhere and expect taxpayers and volunteers to pay for their messes and clean up their sorry asses. Kick them out!
Their families can't tolerate taking care of these blighters and kicked them out. If families can't influence and help them with their anti-work, be a drug addict or alcoholic attitudes strangers won't have any long term effect on them either. This might be a noble intention for these volunteers and maybe 1 or 2 people out of 50 might go straight and turn their lives around. what a waste.

Every injustice, is over something else being of worth, than one another's well-being!
If it weren't for the number of a man, there wouldn't be any brownie-points to slave for!
Where eye-dollar-tree is of worth, everything is going to cost!
Taxation, is like throwing a wrench into the gear-box of hospitality, hindering it's growth and denying one's guest!
Where one another is of worth, there is no cost.... It's priceless!
    You cannot serve two masters!
You'll either love the one and hate the other....
CAPITALISTS are out to acquire MONOPOLY money at all costs, not friends!
It's the well-being of one another, that's TRUELY of worth!
CAPITALISM DIVIDES AND DENIES EVERYONE WORTH AS TO ONE ANOTHER'S WELL-BEING.... FOR PROFIT!
    CAPITALISM is the BEAST!
The MARK of the BEAST is it's CURRENCY!
    EYE-DOLLAR-TREE is Anti-Christ!
In my kingdom, the eye of man freely gives, investing into his neighbor's well-being, because he sees what's of worth to himself!
Have no other worth (God), besides Me!
    - the homeless in Babylon.
HE'S US! (In the mirror suffering the MONOPOLY of make-believe worth!)
