  • How to crochet a cropped halter neck crochet summer top! :)
This is a comprehensive tutorial which will show you how to crochet my 'Coastal Cove' crocheted top design. It's a simple design and surprisingly easy to crochet.
I use both UK and US crochet terminology and translate throughout the tutorial.
The full FREE written pattern and more photos are all available over on my website: coastalcrochet...
You will need: Cotton aran/worsted weight yarn (approximately 3 to 4 50gram balls) and a 5mm crochet hook.
Enjoy it! And use the hashtags #coastalcovetop and #coastalcrochet when sharing your crocheted tops on social media.
    THANK YOU! :)

I have just about started making this with a cotton yarn and 2.5 hook. Please let me know what should be the width f the initial 26 stitches, just so that I get an idea of the size.

How many yards were needed to make this?

I used 3 balls of ‘Rico Creative Cotton Aran’ (50g / 85 metres). There wasn’t much left at the end of the 3rd ball so you may need 4 balls or 340 metres
      depending on your tension.
