I was lucky enough to receive one of these kits for Christmas and have just finished row 7 😁 I did initially struggle with the first joining of the contrast yarn, so started the row again but joined the contrast yarn at the beginning of the row, then carried it along to the first bobble and that worked a treat 👍 Thank you for this tutorial, it really helped me master those bobbles 😊

I have just about started making this with a cotton yarn and 2.5 hook. Please let me know what should be the width f the initial 26 stitches, just so that I get an idea of the size.
