I must say, I'm enjoying watching Sarah struggle during this hearing. I only wish I could see her face. She's essentially being told "no" repeatedly, probably for the first time in her life, and the lawyer for the jail is the best. I'd like to buy him a beer.
The thing that annoys me the most about Ms. Boone is how she tries to sound so smart that she uses all these big words which she often uses incorrectly or just sounds awkward
100% she would sound smarter if she just used everyday speech instead of trying to speak in legalese Her writing is just as bad. Nobody told her that the highway to hell is paved in adverbs lol I really wish I knew what her employment background is
I’m still puzzled by how she claims it was a game of hide and seek when she zipped him into a suitcase. She knew exactly where he was; he wasn’t hiding. And, she went upstairs and went to sleep so she wasn’t seeking.
There isn't anything to be "puzzled" about. She knowingly & willingly committed cold-blooded murder. *HE BEGGED HER* for his life. She kept him zipped up in it while she continued to ignore him pleading with her to let him out. She knew 💯 there was no way for him to escape. She made that suitcase his 1st grave! 💔 Rest Easy Jorge~ 💓
I love the part when the Capt. said, I thought everything was going to be digitized, not hard copies brought into the jail, and basically asked the Judge what had changed since then, and the Judge instantly said, “ Ms. Boone kept requesting the hard copies” .. as if to say, Sarah wouldn’t let it go! Just like everything else in her wants.. she feels if she wants something she should get it, and if not will continue to nag , nag, nag ! It’s just too much!
@@healgoth it is alarming she is so self unaware. Disgusting behavior
Replay crew! She’s use to wearing everyone down to where they give in to her as it’s just easier. Since her incarceration she hasn’t learned anything new.
Narcissists aren’t capable of introspection or seeing anything from an outside perspective which requires empathy. Only her victim perception exists and therefore must be Truth. 🙄
She is learning a bit of the system from other inmates and the law library…. If she could learn to be self aware she could potentially become a decent lawyer for herself but we know that won’t happen
The video where this Judge first appointed Mr. Lane, I commented that this defendant would use, verbally abuse and harass Mr. Lane the SAME way she CHOOSE to treat the 8 PRIOR lawyers.
I’m actually really happy the legal rep for the jail said in open court that she did this to herself. It’s about time someone up there stops tiptoeing around that factS

If we were in her position we would NOT have went through 8 lawyers and now have to represent ourselves 🤷♀️ Sarah is in this position because of herself.
Because of the way she acted towards them. She had some good attorneys, the last one was known for dealing with difficult clients. They didn’t ditch her, she drove them away.
To be fair, four conflicted out. The other four left due to irreconcilable differences. I know Ms Cashman didn't love being called a liar by her client in open court.
I was so glad that lawyer from the jail shut her down. Judge was just waiting for that. Her requests, while logical, are ridiculous. Judge made sure to re-iterate this is a result of HER OWN BEHAVIOR.
And I hope that's just a little taste of the pushback she gets, n that we get the privilege of witnessing. I have been waiting for somebody to tell her 'NO' and not be moved on it!
Do you find her requests to be logical? She has had her discovery documents since the day the first lawyer was appointed. Over four years. While she has been held in the correctional facility, she has had access, like every other inmate, to a legal library. She has been given accommodations that no one else has been given, not even other pro se inmates (and this sets a very dangerous legal precedent for future trials with pro se defendants). She has requested things that she does not need in order to defend herself in the hopes of a) delaying the trial, b) aiming for a mistrial under the guise of claiming that her Constitutional rights have been violated, and c) setting things up for an appeal. It is all a series of mind games. She has a PI and the Judge has told Sarah, use him to get your stuff done (phone calls, gathering contacts and witnesses, etc). She does not need the internet or access to a phone 24/7. She does not need a quiet dedicated space. These are all her wanting special treatment and needing to keep people around her busy doing her bidding. I would say that NOTHING that she is asking for is logical from the perspective of her defense. It is absolutely logical from the point of view of desperately trying to delay her inevitable fate.
@@TheAwetist802 Well especially now, since she wants a list of every single Pro Se imate n EVERYTHING that they were given. You didn’t expect less from a narcissist of her magnitude, did you?. Can you see her modifying her behavior, even when a jury will be seeing her demonstrating the very attitude that led to Jorge’s murder? I share in your laughter, along with everyone else who has sympathy for her victim or has been unfortunate enough to have to interact with someone like this…
She’s really bad at listening?! Like I’m no lawyer, but the judge tells her the issues she needs to prove and she completely ignores it. She’s not even doing the minimum.
Yes she did... From 9:53 she talks about hostile publicity affecting her fair trial I mean I still think she's an idiot and it's irrelevant, she just doesn't want people to hate her , she cares about her image . But I'm just sayin, she did actually argue about it affecting her ability for a fair trial.
Peter, you made a wonderful point when you pointed out that Sarah Boone had all of these things at her fingertips when she had court appointed lawyers. This is a real eye-opener to what it takes to prepare a case for trial. I have both a bachelors and a masters degree, and I would never, ever attempt to defend myself in a court of law.
I would never attempt to defend myself and I have experience in law but we must all remember including Peter she has every right to defend her case by our very Constitution. All the bashing of people who do say or say "oh you should have thought of that when you had lawyers" is not how this should be viewed. One doesn't get punished for choosing a right to them. We can see it as something we wouldn't do but again it is a right of anyone. Then people attempt to rip apart every fine detail as if these people are lawyers. They aren't and we should all view cases through an unbiased innocent unless proven guilty mindset.
What's fair in 2024 is you keep the first FREE Lawyer you are given and you won't need any special things. Period. After that you get paper and pencils !!!!!
I think the court probably assigned several very good and experienced lawyers to her case because it really looked like she was in an abusive relationship, and more than likely just snapped.
When she started talking about going out side having her jail friends being behind a closed door when they offered her a secure cell to prepare for her trial she lost me. The jail representative said it would be secure with open pod privelages. If her case was important she would buckle down for the 96 days and accept that offer and prepare.
It's like she didn't hear the part about open pod privileges either time it was explained. Suitcase Sarah kept saying "24 hours a day". She has selective hearing and it's annoying. Everyone has had to repeat themselves... well, except for her who repeats themselves 4 or 5 times for each point. No wonder they extended this trial from two weeks to three 🥲
What you all want to bet SB says she wants to wear a skirt, but then day one of trial she argues she wants pants. She always says she wants one thing but later argues for the opposite.
I have seen all of her arrest videos and have never seen her wearin clothes like that. She knows exactly what she's doing wearing a skirt while havin a stun-cuff on. Trust me. She knows
I find it outrageous that she complained she couldn’t use the classroom for her office. Apparently she is more important than other people’s classes, meetings and other activities.
@@TheOldandslow I get it. I don’t blame her for asking for the moon. But like the Captain explained, the classroom needs to be free and she can’t have her stuff there and keep moving it from place to place.
I was a prison corrections officer (not recommended) for 3 years. It sounds like she's being offered an administrative segregation cell with the benefits of general population access (showers outside of her cell, day room, phones etc...). This would be her best option if she'll let go of her "jail friends." It varies from state to state, and jail operations are different from prisons, but we had limited electronics inmates could purchase, They are made completely clear so it can be seen if the item is modified or opened up (to use the parts for nefarious purposes). I agree the headphone request should be easy to accommodate. I LOVEDZ the jail attorney. Someone finally spoke to her without coddling and laid it out. Her reaction and anger was equally satisfying. The truth hurts Ms,Boone.
I felt it was reasonable but can you imagine those may be her only line of support. It's so hard for some to grasp that because many see guilt instead of innocent unless proven guilty. Not a single one of us know what med to that day all we know is the horrific images we saw.
Peter is super fair in his analysis . She’s INSUFFERABLE. A legal expert she is NOT lol . A constitutional scholar she is NOT. Sarah doesn’t seem to understand ALL trials and events can be exposed to the media. She doesn’t get it .

You couldn't make ONE of those attorneys work for you, and then fuss whine and complain when you have to do it all by yourself, is ridiculous. Good luck hun. You're gonna need it.
Imagine someone in a different case is just as difficult and obnoxious as Sarah Boone, but she’s innocent in the eyes of the public. The question then becomes, does that person deserve more freedoms, a word processor, internet access, etc, to aid in self representation than Sarah Boone? The factor here is that we know Sarah is guilty, sure. But in the eyes of the law, she isn’t (yet). Even if she’s difficult and obnoxious, shouldn’t she still be afforded the same accommodations that everyone else should have in her position? I believe the moment the law starts to have any bias that it sets a bad precedent moving forward. That is the point Peter tried to make several times in this video.
In the spirit of fairness 4 of the 8 lawyers had conflicts of interest. 4 of the other lawyers requested to resign. She would be attorney 9. But at this rate she may be forced to resign due to Unreconcilable differences. lol.
If someone is innocent but obnoxious, then I’m sure the jury will find them innocent. If they are obnoxious enough to drive away several lawyers, then they may have an uphill battle but I’m sure the jury will listen to the evidence and find them innocent. Thats the lesson, don’t be a terrible, miserable person to everyone around you or you’ll make life difficult for yourself. I don’t know what to tell you. Your argument is basically “well sure she’s a horrible person, but still be nice to her!” Sarah is still getting a fair trial and has many of her requests/demands met. She doesn’t get everything she asks for, she’s in jail for murder, that’s the way it goes. If you don’t like that, don’t be horrible to those trying to help.
Yes I agree as she will keep pushing and asking for more privileges at the tax payers expense . Also it not that as if she will know how to behave in a trial and will get herself off. She a nutcase and so unlikeable
@@BleuetsBleuets I don’t equate being nice to her with giving her necessities to defend herself. I can see how one might confuse those 2 things. The law isn’t “nice” but it should be fair for everyone.
The problem I have with how she asks for things is she's being rude and difficult. There is a way to advocate for yourself and still be agreeable and polite. I think she would get a lot more if she was respectful of people around her.
Sometimes there is a point at which you’ve politely advocated for yourself for so long that polite is no longer in order and it’s gaslighting to say if someone reacts to that, that they are the problem.
She also is so caught up in her preferences that she’s not recognizing when someone offers her a compromise with a lot of these things. The jail still has to manage the safety and needs of other inmates and, I imagine, if she even made a statement to recognize that and changed her thinking a little, it would be easier to work with the jail to make solutions together. She doesn’t have a diplomatic bone in her body
Ok but you know she has a personality disorder, right? That’s never going to happen. Her narcissism is baked in. Hence the term *personality* disorder. 😅
28:52 I don’t know why Boone’s not happier about being offered her own, secure cell. Her hard copies of discovery items would be safer, and she’d have peace and quiet in order to concentrate.
She won’t be happy until she’s released from Jail with a non-guilty verdict. She knows that’s not going to happen so she’s trying to be as unreasonable and unaccommodating as possible, complaining about everything that she possibly can.
She wastes so much time. She should put her head down and get ready for trial instead of spending so much time arguing for preferences. With the offer of a move to a private cell she was fixated on how she wouldn’t be able to go outside whenever she wants. You’re about six weeks from got going to trial, Ms Boone, get busy!
For. Real. And the fact that she hasn't had a chance to review the hardcopy discovery by her bunk..... such a load of bs. All you have is free time locked up, save for meal times(like 30-1hr 3 times a day) and head count times (about 5-15 min 3 times a day).... she just hasn't felt like getting down to business yet. She's too worried about hanging out with her "friends" and "getting fresh air".... like come on, you're going to have a LOT less fresh air time in your future the longer your sentence is, Sarah, so maybe you should take the super generous offer of your own space to focus and grind 🙄 She simultaneously takes herself way too freaking seriously yet this whole case not seriously enough. So infuriating yet kind of fascinating how much she contradicts herself.
Just because someone wants press doesn’t mean they don’t deserve a fair trial. I don’t think that I could represent myself in her position, without access to case law, rules of procedure, etc.

It’s not about disliking her (though I dislike anyone who walks away from a person pleading for their life and chooses not to help, when they could have. That’s my prerogative.) it’s not about disliking her, as I said, it’s about the fact that everyone else around her still has needs and wants and rights and Sarah’s do not trump all of theirs just because she is in a bad position that she put herself in.

The problem with asking “what is just” is that Sarah Boone is in a situation she placed herself in. Why shouldn’t every defendant do what she is doing? That is the guiding question for me. What about Jorge’s rights? What about his family, who have been waiting 3+ years for anything like justice?

You're right I think she's just feigning incompetence, to appear helpless and all it's doing is making her sound like an petulant child. She's not accomplishing anything with this act. Everything else is bang on accurate too! She loves to repeat things over and over again and I think that's how she's gotten her way in her normal life in the past. People who have had to interact with her would probably give up bc it's exhausting trying to argue with someone like that. But yet she also makes everyone repeat themselves bc I guess she wasn't listening the first time? She also focuses on insignificant things like the media and access to the classroom (which is like Dwight Schrute trying to take over the conference room as Assistant Regional Manager 😂). If HER FREEDOM WAS SOOOOOOO IMPORTANT SHE WOULD Have TAKEN THAT SINGLE CELL TO FOCUS ON HER CASE, DISCOVER AND BEST WAY TO REPRESENT HERSELF not worried about this other bullshit.
Agree. No way she could survive without people to listen to her blab. Loved when she went on and on with the prison officials and got silence in return. The lawyer saying "I'm not a witness. I have entertained a few questions but I'm under no obligation to answer them"
"I want to use the classroom an hour a day." Except we know she asks for an hour and really means she wants to come and go from her own little "office" at will. She also wants to lord how special she is over other inmates.
There’s nothing special about sucking so bad that the judge takes your right to a lawyer away. Lol I assure you no one in jail is envying her position. With or without a room to prep in.
Absolutely. She is actually asking to use it at all times they it isn’t already booked. Likely most of the day. She could ask for a small scheduled period of time but she wants the moon.
Even if she asked for a specific time chunk, like 11 AM to noon, they can't give it to her because it would be giving her preferential treatment, I guess. Same with all the other accommodations. I think the jail actually could make things easier for her, but they don't want other inmates to start asking for favors, and they probably don't like her. Being a complainer really doesn't help you with the jail staff.

Thank you Peter for continuing to cover this case with all of us! 💗 I would love for you to cover the Adelson motions as well as discuss the three day hearing in the Richard Allen/Delphi case from the other week. Also, I tend to agree with you that the jail should be able to easily find ways to accommodate pro se defendants more thoroughly, but in the interim, she should utilize her investigator to accomplish a lot of the tasks that she cannot currently accomplish by herself.
I originally believed Sara was intelligent, but just an alcoholic now I’m starting to think Sara is really, really really not that smart at all, trying to pretend to be intelligent
I do think there should be every reasonable accommodation made for her, but I also understand that the jail has to weigh her needs against the safety of the other 400 inmates they are overseeing. They also have to consider if they could provide the accommodation she’s requesting to every other pro se inmate going forward, including inmates who might have more intense security needs (eg what if there’s a pro se inmate who has been in a lot of fights with other inmates, etc). I think the fairest thing would probably be to require her to be in the single cell and then provide all the materials she’s asking for within that cell: that way she has what she needs (even if she doesn’t prefer it socially) and the jail’s security needs are met
@@alanamarie8669I don’t like Sarah Boone at all but his attitude and demeanor were uncalled for and unnecessary. The disdain he has for her was very evident which should have no place in the policy standards he was discussing.

I’m afraid the whole thing will be tossed out after a conviction on appeal because she really isn’t being given a fair trial, this would be very unfortunate
I watched it as well. I'm not anyone any way part of the legal system, but I keep wondering if she is focusing on the wrong things? It feels like she has this idea that all these "things" are going to win the case. Aren't there other matters that she should be thinking about? Maybe I'm way off base here., but it seems like someone going up to bat, striking out and blaming the bat for being insufficient.
She wastes a lot of time obsessing about things. If the court had told me, when this hearing is over you will get your evidence. I would have sd, Great. Can we get a move on so I can go back and start working? I would not have sat there whining and asking for things I had been previously denied. I would also be paying attention for future court dates, too.
I really think that she is rearranging chairs on the Titanic. It’s making her feel better about how things are in her immediate vicinity at the most immediate timeframe…like she has some power, control, and autonomy…and I understand why because she has no actual control of what is going to happen at trial. She wants to feel SOME control.
You’re absolutely correct. She needs to be focusing on her actual defense. Is she going with “it wast intentional?!" 🙄 She needs to accept the Ls, use her investigator, and get to work!

If she was listening, she would have heard the judge say that the evidence-sharring was only going to take place in court because she was incarcerated and he wanted to keep a record. All these points were made in a previous hearing. But she wasn't listening because she's always hyper-focused on herself and how she was done wrong🙄. Thanks for your consistency, Peter.

Peter, it's not just that there's a video of her killing her bf in a suitcase it's the audacity of her expecting everyone to bend over backward for her. I for sure want everyone to have the best opportunities. I guess what feels insulting is that she's the reason everyone is there. She killed someone and her tone of voice sounds like she forgot that.
And if you get too greedy, you get nothing. Sarah should have asked for restricted internet access, and other examples. She gets carried away and asks for too much. Whereas if she kept it reasonable maybe she'd have some more wins.

I can't imagine Sarah is the only Pro Se lawyer to make requests. I also can't imagine that the Florida prison system is well funded. "Paper and pencil" while I do concur the system should be updated as the times do. However, if I recollect, she was properly warned about the risk she could be facing. The 'paper and pencil' may also act as deterrent as a prose defendant makes the trial/process more difficult. A backwards quid pro quo
I mean in the court of the streets thats correct, but she hasn't had a trial yet and cannot be seen as guilty, yet. Therefore, she does still have rights.
@@Euyoo412 I tend to agree. The evidence certainly is damning, but the whole notion of "due process" is that you're innocent until the official verdict. But we've invented this in-between state where "well _everyone knows_ you're guilty so we might as well just preemptively take away your rights" - which completely undermines due process. It's 2024, everyone has a personal surveillance device on their person 24/7 - If we truly believed in "innocent until proven guilty" house arrest would be the default these days.

Thank you Peter ❤ It’s always interesting with you. I just loved the legal counsel for the jail. It was like HOORAY! Finally somebody said what I was thinking! I’m happy the Judge went along with him.
She asked for unlimited internet access, but you keep saying limited internet. She’s never said exactly what she wants internet access for. She has an investigator and should utilize him. It also blows my mind that she requested todays hearing, knew when it was happening, and didn’t even try to prepare an argument
Exactly. I just don’t know how they can throttle the internet sufficiently. It is so easy to communicate with the outside world. Unless we are making the argument that inmates should have unsupervised outside contact with the world? The jail doesn’t operate under the supposition that Sarah won’t try to coordinate illicit things. If she wanted to still shoot for the moon she could have asked for a digital legal database.
I thought the warden went over and above what Sarah wanted but refused to break the rules that would create safety hazards. She sounds like she runs things well.
Peter, I really appreciate your comments about how if Sarah had not asked for these things they could be considered waved. Especially your analogy of what patients can request in a hospital regarding their care. I've been that patient who languished in a hospital until I was moved to a better hospital with better treatment protocols and it saved my life. I've found that it's often difficult to talk to lawyers because they can't really care too much about how you feel; they care about what is pertinent before the law. Even lawyers who truly do care about their clients in their mind/heart. But you bring up important issues about what might change in legislation regarding word processing or internet access etc...in 2024. I feel we need to hear these cases and think critically as you suggest because eventually it will start being brought up repeatedly in the appellate court. Its easy to not like Sara and to think she's being a demanding narcissists (which she is). But, it doesn't change the fact that the days of pencil, paper and stamps are long gone for pro-se defendants.
FINALLY!!!! That lawyer said exactly what I have been screaming at my TV for a long time. She had EIGHT lawyers, paid for by the taxpayers of Orange County. She made her own bed. Now she should lie in it.
They probably don’t want everyone to follow suit and start this new trend! Like listen, if you really want this…as a prisoner…you do it AS A PRISONER. You don’t get special accommodations and special treatment. Just my humble opinion.
I'm tellin ya, 80s style leg warmers will solve all her problems. She can wear the skirt and still hide the ankle thingy. The State should go shopping.

Sarah is in this position because of herself.
Sarah act likes she has NEVER seen any discovery, which not true! Her former lawyers did. At a point they were ready for trial! 👀
But most of those lawyers ditched her!
We would have let him out of the suitcase, and apologized!
Then they should take away a person right to defend themselves!
I think the court probably assigned several very good and experienced lawyers to her case because it really looked like she was in an abusive relationship, and more than likely just snapped.

Sometimes there is a point at which you’ve politely advocated for yourself for so long that polite is no longer in order and it’s gaslighting to say if someone reacts to that, that they are the problem.
This does not apply to Sarah, she’s been rude since day one. She’s never politely advocated for herself, always mean and nasty.
She was "advocating" for herself so vigorously that 8 lawyers ran away from her.

Damn! My plan to create a YT site for my many..cough. cough ...fans to come to my aid. At least I can ask them questions. Beg for an attorney. Apparently, that fancy advertisemnt was a flop. Poor woman. Poor Jorge.
She has the right to defend herself. Wtf are you on about? In her position I'd ask for a mile to maybe gain an inch. That isn't hard ro understand for most of us.
I know right!? She's in jail they need to monitor everything except lawyer client communications everything else is fair game.
And yes Sarah, the media has the right to be there. Like, an actual constitutional Right 😂. She’s quite backwards for someone ‘so smart’
@@MrMancreatedgod this would be a lottttt more impressive an argument if she hadn’t literally left a man to die in a slow and agonizing and entirely preventable way. Every single person around her is acting with far more care and compassion than she possesses.
This woman is EXHAUSTING! I 100% think she knows what she's doing and is doing it to not only be difficult but trying to delay things/catch the judge/court in a slip up. I think she is WAY smarter than she's trying to appear. And I think she has been and is STILL trying her hardest to get out of this. Also, I think she just likes to listen to herself talk! All the long letters, all the long speeches she gives the judge, repeating herself over and over...but not a lot of actual LISTENING going on.
No wonder this trial has been extended from two weeks to three 🫠
@@heysassafrasThey need to add a few more weeks. She’ll probably spend 3 weeks on Jury selection.
She was not prepared. She just wants to hear herself talk and to argue.
@@AliceBowieBut at least it would be reasonable.
Not 1 hour a day. But for instance 1 hour for a very specific purpose of for instance watching the videos of Jorge given that she can’t have headphones. She shouldn’t have to watch that is a dork with the volume up so she can hear it. But regular access to it was never going to happen. And why would 1 hour a day enable anyways.
@@sallycinnamon5370She was given the choice of a private cell where she can listen to her video taunting George to death.
She was given an OPTION. She can take it or shut the F up.
I can't believe I am watching this ... again. Just watched whole hearing already but tuned in for your analysis and comments. I think she will do something in front of the jury to cause a mistrial.
Lol ! Me too 😂
Same here 😁
Same here lol
She's going throw as many people under the bus as she can 😂 All she has to say is the same things she's saying in her hearings "this is a surprise" "the secret meetings that were being held without me" "I don't know what I'm doing" "I wasn't given enough time to prepare" and my favorite "I don't know why I'm here" 😂
I bet her victim would have liked extended time out of the suitcase too, but here we are.
Going through 8 attorneys is wild. I didn’t like any of my driving instructions, but I just accepted the 3rd one. At one point you have to accept it’s probably the best you’re going to get. And the dude helped me pass my test first time!
This. ☆
I agree, however his attitude toward her was out of pocket.
I’d suggest this should be something the corrections dept should consider adding to prisons, especially to any new ones.
@@alanamarie8669I don’t like Sarah Boone at all but his attitude and demeanor were uncalled for and unnecessary. The disdain he has for her was very evident which should have no place in the policy standards he was discussing.
@@DaniSouthMSthat's how ALL inmates are treated.... Like scum
@@okiegranny4844 uncalled for and should be addressed. I don’t understand how he could be so brazen in court, he should be admonished.
Peter I really appreciate the time you take to converse with all your subscribers I've followed this case from the beginning and through the past few years have tried to keep up I find this case tragic at the same time extremely intriguing from a legal point of view and you make this experience so much more interesting I'm so grateful for your channel 😊
Peter u are so right, we are lucky to have these rights here in America. If I was in this position I would want everything my rights allowed me to.
I’m afraid the whole thing will be tossed out after a conviction on appeal because she really isn’t being given a fair trial, this would be very unfortunate
$1000 says her hard copies get lost, damaged or stolen.
And then it will be the fault of the jail per Suitcase Sarah
She’s allowed to hire an attorney and since she claims she has an abundance of fans, why doesn’t she beg those fans to hire an attorney for her?
Surely one of fans is either an attorney or knows an attorney
She doesn’t need fans, she needs stans. Unfortunately she has none, so no money no lawyer. Plus lawyers don’t know as much as Miss Boone does.
Interesting…maybe her fans empathize but don’t think she’s innocent?
She did, that was the gist of the full-page ad she drew up at the end of one of those recent letters
I think that’s why she wants internet and phone access.
She wants all the things she had a few months ago, in a lawyer!
@@sallycinnamon5370 great comment!
You’re absolutely correct. She needs to be focusing on her actual defense. Is she going with “it wast intentional?!" 🙄 She needs to accept the Ls, use her investigator, and get to work!
@@la214la I think she really struggles with the concept that careless behaviour can result in murder conviction.
Levels of murder are a bit hard to really wrap your brain around tbh.
IMO, shes talking about wearing a skirt because she's trying to not wear the stun cuff or leg restraints.
Rewatch crew here! ❤🇬🇧4:40 Peter is 💯 right here! Another attribute that Ms Boone lacks is listening skills.
I love that you keep using that pic of her for your thumbnail lol 😂
She wants discovery hard copies, she still wants hard copies as well as on a laptop. She got what she wanted. Is the discovery papers in folders or loose papers? She doesn’t know because she hasn’t looked yet 😂
Please cover Telles... It is wild. Also the Adelson motions, Maya trial attorney changes, and appellate stuff in Murdaugh. As always, thank you for all you do!
Yes Telles!!!!
Love that she’s so concerned about the media, yet mentions being unhappy about her “FANS” potentially not having access to her.
Would love to see anything and everything Markel/ Adelson! You're brilliant, Peter!
Peter, just want to tell you that after stumbling upon your channel a few years back I have used your critcal thinking skills in my life greatly. Your mindset is 🔥 and you help us expand our knowledge on not just the law but everything.
"If you don't ask, you don't get "is the lesson here.
And if you get too greedy, you get nothing. Sarah should have asked for restricted internet access, and other examples. She gets carried away and asks for too much. Whereas if she kept it reasonable maybe she'd have some more wins.
Love your communication with us all re ‘justice for all’ and thanking you Peter. 😊🙏
If she would stop writing so many letters, perhaps she would be ready for all of this, instead of her complaining about being unprepared for court.
How will she react if the state brings on a family member of Jorge to the stand. Will they make her cry?She is more worried about what the Media sees than what jurors see.
Procedural. As much inadmissible as possible
She won't cry. His passing doesn't seem to bother her that much.
@@suzyn9119 yes but she will use it as sympathy points with the jury to make it look ;like they are all abusive and she lived in fear
I think they are stipulating to his identity so his family won’t need to speak and be cross examined.
@@deecerna2761but they WERE both abusive, and both abused one another.
The one battery charge she managed to rack up was dropped. He is the one with the violent record. Not saying he deserved to die, but she definitely has some mitigating factors in her case.
Absolutely priceless Peter!! Thank you so much!! I always believed that having a lawyer even if you did nothing wrong was the best advice. Also never represent yourself!! I would have a lawyer no matter what!! Thank you for doing this! I couldnt wait until you reviewed this! Thank you!
I can't imagine Sarah is the only Pro Se lawyer to make requests. I also can't imagine that the Florida prison system is well funded. I think the query is that if the jail accomodates all of Sarah's requests, other pro se defendants will cause a headache in the jail.
I can also believe that these officers were PISSED when those bankers boxes showed up.
Peter I found your channel through the Karen Read trial, but I am a SUB because of the Sarah Boone case!! Do not ever stop coverage, I can’t get enough!
I think Sarah has been a total PITA for the jail attorney already, and that's why he's being so sharp with her in the courtroom.
Exactly. He’s tired of her shit. He probably helped set up the laptop procedures and now has to deal with her hard copies and boxes. I’d hate to be the employee that let those boxes into the jail.
"Paper and pencil" while I do concur the system should be updated as the times do. However, if I recollect, she was properly warned about the risk she could be facing. The 'paper and pencil' may also act as deterrent as a prose defendant makes the trial/process more difficult. A backwards quid pro quo
Her "killing video" was predjucicial enough 😂
She didn't kill him he put himself in the damn suitcase and I think she was afraid to let him out and yes she was f***** up and she passed out
She lost privileges once she was jailed for putting her bf in a suitcase. And not letting him out.
Let's not forget that she put her son, lucas, in a suitcase first. I think that was a trial run

Hi Peter watching the replay, Sarah's attitude is definitely hurting her case .
Love your channel it's wonderful how you interact with the chat , and answering one's law questions. Your a kind and awesome person ty.
I really liked the Warden's voice. That is exactly what a warden of a prison should sound like. She seems fair and capable.
I thought the warden went over and above what Sarah wanted but refused to break the rules that would create safety hazards. She sounds like she runs things well.
She is not Royalty to be treated as such..pencil and paper seems about enough
The fact she's been free range till her 40s and not already locked up is amazing in itself.
“She could be bound and gagged, potentially”
Don’t get our hopes up.
FINALLY!!!! That lawyer said exactly what I have been screaming at my TV for a long time. She had EIGHT lawyers, paid for by the taxpayers of Orange County. She made her own bed. Now she should lie in it.
Agree, BUT she still has rights
She has forgotten that she is an inmate, a criminal who has to be supervised. She is not special, not smart to be representing herself.
She's not a criminal until she's convicted
I hear you Peter and agree completely. Justice is Justice.
This is why I love Peter! Sensible, kind & fair. Thank you!
😂😂😂😂
Why ask to have the shock device visible if she didn’t want to wear cuffs in front of the jury. 🙄
Because she cannot comply if it wasn't her idea. SB is a one woman island.
I take it that this defendant is not planning on wearing a hobble skirt, which is a tight skirt from the 1900’s.
She started she didn't want cuffs so she could use her hands to take notes without obstruction. She didn't mention whether the jury could see them.
Thank you for being fair and thoughtful. It’s alarming all the people missing the point.
