True! I'm glad someone noticed it too.
It’s not a Fredrinn habit, it has been his playstyle since the two purple buffs split into purple and red buffs. If anyone remembers his marksmen in the jungle, especially with purify, they will know just how hard he baits the other team. His Claude, Granger and Moskov jg were a testament to that playstyle.
And it’s not just him, Victor aka CARTI is also just as aggressive and “in your face” like Zane is. This is also the reason why BTK were so good at kiting and baiting back in M3. If you remember the game vs Blacklist where Carti is on Esme, they re-engage the fight (3v5) as Zane ults on Granger and Shark sets up his ult on the Lolita. This is also partly why Shark was arguably the most effective roamer that M series.
It’s just how they play. Fwyd goes for optimal plays, Shark also goes for optimal plays, Zia is versatile and adaptable and Hoon plays very safe. So they’re not going to just go in and take unnecessary damage even if Zane gets caught, unless it’s a certainty they can save him (eg Faramis or Mathilda draft) or counter engage even harder (eg Mino, Grock wild charge, Khuf’s ult, Arlott’s ult etc)
This is such a good observation about all of their plays but specially about Hoon’s.
Hoons probably the most overrated player in NA, he is an NPC in tournaments, promises himself to not use his brain during any games, so defensive so safe, and hyper focused on getting a good KDA, this is why the knife never falls on him but he never wins any tournament.
Basically he does nothing right, nothing wrong.
stop the cap... ive always known carti as mr.3.0 chocolates all over M3 whenever the end game results are shown.. you only remember the games where they won against blck but he is the worst player ever in that btk line up and the worst player represented NA..
to put it frankly, what trex meant was that zane is not yet adapted in the new meta.. he is still stuck in tank meta where the tank jungler will go upfront in the river and always the one zoning.. he has to stop that habit if they want to win.. so stop your nonsense that it is his habit before m3.. no.. as a matter of a fact, he needs to get back to that kind of rotation and positioning because he is back in using squishy heroes.. but since its hard for him to adapt, he settle for heroes like alpha and bane.. like a pseudo damage dealer that are not that squishy..

BTK is about to go down the same route as GEEK. Realize that the way these team works is very similar, but both have one crucial flaw: their junglers (Vincenttt in the case of GEEK and Zane in the case of BTK) use assassins with a fighter playstyle resulting in lack of efficiency, neither jungler has properly adapted, and neither team plays around these limitations.

Both were right. Zane cannot use Ling, Fanny, and high mechanical Assassins that's why he can't sit behind the tanks during the objective fights.
