Piece of cake! Thanks! I was intimidated at the idea of taking on this repair. Didn't do it as quick as you but, Saved me lots of bucks. Your the best.
I have the GM part numbers for the hardware. You can get them from gmpartsdirect or from a dealership. 11519864 - The bolt with the threaded stud on top, to which the sensor bracket attaches. $6.97 ea. 11609746 - The nut that holds the sensor bracket to bolt 11519864. $1.13 ea. Probably not necessary to replace but I did anyway. 11570580 - The regular mount bolt for the bearing. Each bearing has two of these. $3.62 ea. 10257766 - Axle nut. $2.40 ea. Probably not necessary to replace but I did anyway. Just did the job today on my 2002 Rendezvous. Thanks very much for the video.
You're a Saint!! Thanks for the part numbers. Im getting ready to do this exact job plus brakes on my Sister's '05 Rendezvous. Thanks for posting this video, sir.
I'm wondering if changing a bad hub after I get a local mechanic to use his scan tool to get the image of wich one is activating when unwanted,if this will possibly fix abs and TCS problem? or are they separate issues? my problem is that I can be parked in my driveway and then I engage the 2004 rendezvous in gear.thwn the TCS activates and I also get abs activate when breaking . even at very low speed when breaking is not even going to lock up the wheels. the abs will activate even at speeds as low as 5 kmh. thank you if you are able to reply to me.😊👍
I have the exact same problem. I've run a scan tool, and it indicated that i have one front and one rear speed sensor malfunctioning. Everything I have read online states that a bad wheel speed sensor will trip the ABS/Traction Control warning lights on the cluster. Replacing the hub assembly in our case, should theoretically solve the problem. I watched a video regarding this problem on a Chevy Malibu of the same generation as my Rendezvous, and replacing the hubs solved the problem.
@@michaelp.139 I ended up selling that piece of crap. Never again will I buy a. He y product. I ended up going through 3 transmissions as well. Went VW and no more daily problems. Other then little electrical problems here and there on accessories. I guess those are not German engineered.lol
hi do you have a video on 2006 corolla...changing the timing chain gasket-& cleaning the throtlle body(electronic)-&fuel filter ..thanks for your kindness..God bless
these hubs always seem to come out so easy on these videos.i have done a few of these and they were nothing but a pain in the butt.very good video, thanks.
Tighten the axle nut with an impact,100% impossible to torque the axle nut to spec.Wheelbearing manufacturers are liars on damage to the wheelbearing when tightening the axle nut with an impact.I do this and no damage done yet
very nice show..you should have done the presentation with out taking it off first then putting it back on. there is no way on this planet will a hub assembly literally fall off. it takes a hundred different ways of prying, pounding and heat to get them loose

@@michaelp.139 no problem mate. Have fun.
on the re install.run/snug a couple lug nuts on to hold the disc as you install the caliper so you are not dealing w/disc flopping around..

+jirojoseph esman Sorry I do not.
Thank's for quality in yours videos!
I thought you had to use a puller to separate the axial from the hub?
A puller is only needed in this application if your axle is siezed inside the hub. I would have one handy, just in case.
Is this front or rear assembly?
Front left
