An old school trick is to get some long studs the same bolt thread size and hand turn em in a few rotations. Slide the gasket over that then put the pan all the way up. Then remove a stud and replace with a bolt all the way around. So easy. Great video.

Hey my man I know I’m 2 years late but do you know if that’s a deep pan or shallow ? I don’t know the difference and been trying to find it, I’m not sure if the filter I have will fit

@@mealarca got it now thank you so much, the fuel gauge reads way past full so I’m guessing it’s either a broken ground/ some kind of wire or the sending unit ? It had a random leak on the top of the rear tank hours after I drove it and I stopped using the rear almost a year ago. The way I solved it was just opening the front tank cap and leaving it just barely screwed in so there’s no pressure, the last thing is when I would go to fill up it would barely let me put anything then stop and keep doing that and overflowing, the way I fixed it stopping consistently is I wedged a piece of wood under the tallest part I could see on the filler neck and it seemed to stop it but I only filled up once since and just solved the stopping not overflowing, I know I’ll have to drop the tanks eventually especially since I don’t even know how much fuel is in either tanks

@@mealarca dang I will probably have to end up changing most or all of that in due time, I think I’ve found the vent but it has a cap on the end, is that it ? shouldn’t there be some sort of hole somewhere on the front tank ? Breather neck I think it’s called ?
