With Zero Hour returning next month, along with Outbreak becoming craftable, I wanted to do a run with it. To lean further into the idea of nanite sawms, I combined it with an Unraveling setup. That being said, this is easily one of the worst runs I've probably ever posted on the channel. The setup is horrible for this strike especially, where you can't really use Outbreak effectively at all. The surge doesn't match, and there's no Overload enemies to use Overload Pulse on. In groups that have low health enemies it's alright, but it's terribly weak outside of intended range. Even at closer ranges and with Unravel being applied (+ Horde Shuttle), it struggles to take out the orange bar Hive Knights before they can put up their shield and regen. I think any other subclass would've probably been better for this, and maybe even Necrotic Grips would've been the better option for the Poison spread. But I stuck with the run anyway. Some parts of this were beyond tedious, particularly the later phase of the room before the boss. Being stuck with two wizards and a knight constantly spamming the door, the only option was to wait for a super so I could push them from far. The boss fight itself was also pretty awful. Nothing about this build is good for this strike outside of the bow. Either way, I wouldn't recommend this setup at all. I also feel like Outbreak needs a pretty significant damage buff, as it feels woefully weak here.
I wouldn’t say it’s an issue with outbreak but more a consequence of pulses being pretty bad in pve currently. Of all primary weapon types pluses feel like they’re in the worst spot overall. Even scouts feel better which is saying something.
Very surprised people haven't been talking about swarmers this season, the self perpetuating loop you get with the seasonal mods; unravel spawning a threadling that unravels the target again and spawns another infinitely, makes it a real powerhouse in gms
The artifact mod should be the default behavior of swarmers I think. Unraveled target periodically create threadlings (maybe not as much), threadlings unravel.
@@thetoolie5917Wish Ender and Doom of Chelchis is my go to and for this season specifically because of the artifact mods I run Fatebringer and Polaris Lance or if theres overloads I use my Rufus's Fury and they work well in gms for me
The type of weapon I chose for the mission was incorrect, which led to a delay in fighting the enemies, and it took longer than it should. All the stages you play are very happy, except this time I felt bored, but you are always the best for me.👌🏻💪🏻
For the more casual Destiny fan, this is a really good player playing an extremely suboptimal build to do a solo GM with, this is more a testament to Esoterickk's ability to complete solo GMs than it is a testament to this build being good. If you are attempting to solo GMs for the first time, please for the love of god and yourself use a solar subclass with an incandescent bow, a shoot to loot long range primary and a dragon's breath and heavy finder/scav solar mods.
When you see Eso getting frustrated in the ad room, you know sh*t is BAD! And how many Darkness Blasts can those damn Wizards shoot in one volley? 500?
One of my all time favorite guns, ever since d1. Best exotic quest in d1 and d2 imo, I absolutely love Siva, and it's just all around a perfected exotic... excuse the pun. I remember gettin hate mail for using it in trials/elimination in d1 but hey I don't mind.
Wish they just gave it a schematics quest for a Strand upgrade as part of the lore and game, that would have been awesome. Imagine getting sent from the Zero Hour mission to the Cosmodrone to explore and inspect an item linked to old Siva tech that's similar to the Siva tech on Neonuma. Then from the Cosmodrone, you get sent to Europa for the final pieces which eventually lead you to Neonuma since Strand in lore terms is the strongest there which helps you connect the new parts for Outbreak Perfected 2.0.
I get why people use bows in gms but i could never, especially not paired with another primary. Waaay too tedious for me so hats off to any of you who actually posses the patience necessary to plink in gms. You all are built different.
Imo Polaris synergizes with Hunter better because of the buff Celestial Nighthawk got. As for best gm weapons to run it depends on the mission and champions but generally Le Monarch and Wish Ender are great for just about every one as for the legendary weapons thats more personal preference
Artifact mod gives you radiant for rapid solar kills or precision hits and since he has a solar bow he can proc it pretty fast which gives all non champion stun weapons anti barrier till it runs out
"Outbreak needs a pretty significant damage buff, as it feels woefully weak here" yea, I don't know why bungie are so opposed to making pulse rifles viable in pve.they get small buffs here and there but it's still not good enough. only ones i would seriously use are revision and graviton lance
Pulses are my go to in pve and they definitely arent weak, maybe in gms but thats because their usability ranges isnt great for that level of difficulty because your either far back picking things off with bows, snipers, scouts, and heavy or your up close finishing off whats left of adds with shotguns, autos, sidearms, or smgs. Pulses are more if a mid range weapon which isnt a good distance to be because your too far to get the finisher quickly and too close to pick things off with minimal risk
Brilliant video. It's odd though. Watching at the 20 minute mark. Playing like this basically relegates you to having to shoot through a doorway for 10 minutes because inside the room is just a tempest of instant death. Is it fun to have to stand in a doorway and do that? Is this what Bungie envisioned as fun gameplay? Do gamers find this fun? Seems so tedious.
This was WILD. Usually your runs are pretty good but this looked awful from a synergy standpoint. There’s no over load and outbreak is mid. The threadlings are also pretty meh. Gg on the clear but this is going straight into the NahFam pile of builds lmao
This build would have worked better last week. It's strange because the build is good at its core. But once you step out past the 30 meter range its not so good in GM,s but neither are any other pulse rifles apart from revision zero.

Can u try one with whispers ??
It seems that Outbreak is *Primed* to be *perfected* but dum tss
Just looking at the damage outbreak does to an arc shield, compared to even a legendary primary, it’s pretty bad.
I wouldn’t say it’s an issue with outbreak but more a consequence of pulses being pretty bad in pve currently. Of all primary weapon types pluses feel like they’re in the worst spot overall. Even scouts feel better which is saying something.
Thanks for telling me not to use this set up
Im so happy for outbreak being craftable, since that was one of my first exotics i got and loved.
and of course beautiful video as always

hello and again, the passage on the legend is just phenomenal, I'm delighted)))
This GM is nasty, nice fight. God bless you.❤
You have to admit the Brig has way too much health and is quite boring to kill.
This gm as a whole is boring. Enemies have too much health and forces you to stay at a distance and plink away.
yeah if ur using soley precision weapons, use something like the special sidearm with deconstruct or any hakke weapon like paly b

I just read your synopsis and made total sense. I was an hour for Eso something isn't right 🤣

Enemies running to hide now is my favorite thing about Destiny.
6 minutes in and I started thinking he probably hates this build for this nightfall, then I went to the comments lol
Bro has the patience of a god
Call this build the Applebee's the way there are a suspiciously large number of bees in the room.
Dont even play D2 anymore but him solo'ing content is always fun to watch
Man, this looked downright frustrating. Poor Outbreak, not really able to break-out here at all.

spawning the boss recharges all of your abilities and super, so no reason not to use it before the fight

It’s really only necessary for soloing
What mask ornament is that ?
Run Outbreak with Chromatic Fire on Arc for blind to keep enemies in one place and give you Ionic Traces with Electrostatic Mind.
if outbreak is so awful to play with in this gm, what would you say is the best or ne of the best loadouts to use in here? Polaris lance on warlock?
Polaris is good because of the seasonal artifact, also Hierarchy of Needs. Wicked Implement would also work. Wish Ender is also great with Stasis.
