I used to listen to a lot of music like this before getting into the japanese metal/rock scene. May I suggest the album 'What is Death?' by 'Unholy Orpheus' (recent release and kind of a more heavier spin-off/side project of a group called 'Unlucky Morpheus')🤘 So far one of my favourites this year
Hard agree with Jake! Darko pushed so many boundaries with that project, hard to think of anything more creative and unique in the scene right now
