I have listened to this divine Chopin music played by so many top violinists, I always come back to Sarah Chang for the definitive and best ever version. Perhaps the deep and dark unique sound of her 1717 Guarneri del Gesù violin may give her that little bit extra on others, whatever, she is certainly a remarkably gifted Violinist.
Agreed. Got to interview her. She is without pretense, very kind and humble. The NY Times gave her the best quote / review I've ever read, basically saying we should all be in awe of what the gods have bestowed upon us. Or something like that! Astonishing.

i was at a graduation party in Lake Lucerne NY last saturday and I saw where this lady is playing in a concert/cinner there tomorrow (8/3) night. she is amazing
I took up the violin lessons thanks to this lady. She did encourage me a lot and after enjoying her performance at Hennessy Concert 16, I gained enough courage to study the violin and ready fro every expense. I love Sarah a lot:)

I First heard about Sarah Chang in a music course I took back in 1999 at SUNY Rockland. All I remember is the music teacher explaining to us that Sarah Chang was a Virtuoso. We watched her and listened to her back then. I don't know why this little girl's name has stuck in my mind but after all these years today I looked her up on You Tube for the heck of it. Wow how she has blossomed into a beautiful woman! The way she plays is still flawless. What a great human being to society! Lol! I wonde

My favorite tune of all time. Sarah expresses the feeling of this piece better than any other musicians. Of course, this is my own judgment. She is beautiful, talented, and I am proud of her being a Korean-born musician.

Sarah Chang is to many the finest living Violinist. Also perhaps the finest ever Violin prodigy, she was so amazing that at the age of only 11 years old she performed one of the finest ever Concerts of Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto which she only took 2 weeks to learn. This can be viewed on youtube.

Sarah Chang is in a very special category of exceptional musicians.
She did really well but I think her style is more "virtuoso" lol. I prefer Midori's version which is more meek but as powerful
