I average 7 to 9 second I the Rubik’s cube max park is at a lot of competitions I’ve been to so it’s cool for him to have a mother sponsor I have my 24th comp next month and max is going is I’ll tell him congrats on the sponsor
disagree at the moment max is more "sponsorable" by a general company for 3 primary reasons 1. He holds the World Record Single (The most important record from a noncuber perspective) I'm surprised Prime Hydration isn't using this marketing more... 2. He's the Reigning World Champion which is very helpful when it comes to a sponsorship. 3. Netflix documentary featured him which is also huge for marketing.

Personally, I already think the community is going downhill right now and it’s only getting worse. Great partnership, I just have mixed feelings about this.
don't think it'll have any bad impact on cubing. People commenting on how this will "hurt" cubing will "hurt" cubing more than this brand deal itself. With this deal, Max get's paid, and more people are introduced to cubing. And it's not like Max is gonna be forced to constantly talk about prime. Most likely he has to wear some merch and be seen drinking prime/having bottles of it.
