I would go ahead and add a forth axle to that trailer bruh. 2 up, 2 down for the extra money and weight. I always liked the ol 4 leggers. Good trailers for Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.
@LEVEL777UP yes. I would haul dble loads outa Gary/Detroit area down to Laredo & had close to 90k cple times on a Benson 724 & still had an arch. Driving a 650 hp W9
@@martincurrie4209 how long was this ? 🤔I barely started hauling steel 6 years ago and the 3 axles were hauling heavy loads . Right now I know the 2 axles only let you scale 100k with permit and 3 axles 120k
@LEVEL777UP who is scaling. Dearborn steel didnt make you scale out. & if some place did make you scale. U go down to a drop yard. Unload & go back for another coil. & this has been going on & still is. Whatever works for you is fine. Just saying
@@martincurrie4209 oh damn I didn’t know this . But I just run Indiana and Ohio . I go to Michigan once in a blue moon . I would say like once every 2 months
When they take out the permit you see how much weight do each axle hold . Im doing a video explaining a bit better . But single coil always goes in the middle , doubles it all depends if your loading over weight like 40k and 45k the 40k in the front on top of the landing gear and 45k in the back axles but it they legal loads under 48k you can put the double coils in the middle , 3 coils over weight lightest on top of the landing 2nd in the middle and 3rd in the back axles but if they are legal load , again you can load them in the middle of the trailer . With permit load (over weight) is a little more hard but you get used to it you just need to find the weight and spread the weight evenly .
@LEVEL777UP I work under someone, was that was at PGT, now at PI&I. So all I been doing is OTR runs back and forth in OH, IN, IL, MI and PA. I mainly load out of Portage US Steel, Gary US Steel(don’t like the place), Anywhere in Chicago same with anyway in Ohio and Pa I go no further than Farrell and wheatland
Another great video 😎💯 keep em coming Brother an stay safe out there on that road
Thanks for the support brother but will do ! You as well
That’s a beautiful t600 🔥😎

Thanks brother but that’s the plan this year . Some say it’s not much difference ? Ima able to scale 120k with 3
It's 7k more on the gross, but remember 3k is going to be axle
Why 3 axles. My Benson 724 would haul basically the same. & def having the side kit helps
You would haul 85k with two axles ? I was hauling 85k and 80k . That will be put me weight around 120k in total with the load and truck/trailer

I have a question, when it comes to coil how do you know where you’re placing them when it comes to a single, doubles, triple and 5 of them
