Excelent video, showing what most airlines (not to say all of them) have forgotten: people paid the price of a ticket and they should get something in return. That is exactly what Emirates is doing: providing the good old service on board we (old and experienced travellers) used to enjoy years back. Good for them and I see the flight was almost full ; meaning people are pursuing what the others have missed or forgotten. I will make sure I fly with them next time I have to go to Miami.

Great video , great information about your experience! I have a question I usually fly to Bogota with American Airlines and When I purchase the tickets I select the seat at that moment . I wonder why you were on stand by and why you couldn’t select a seat when you purchased your ticket. Are you allow to select your seat when you purchase the ticket on the emirate website?
Hi @onnfo1777 thank you for watching and the support! So when we purchased the tickets (before the route opened up) for some reason, the seats were not included with the fare we bought. We had some issues with the online check-in, and we kept getting an error message saying we needed to see a gate agent to complete the check-in. However, on my return flight from Bogota, we were able to choose our seats with the app. Yet, we still needed to see a gate agent to complete our check-in.
Such a great video, Milo and full of great details about this new route. I have never flown Emirates so this is very informative. On a side note, my respects to you my friend, vlogging on a flight IS NOT easy and you did amazing! ⭐️
Emirates is simply amazing. They are in a massive refurbishment of their B777 and compared with competitors Avianca and American... the old IFE is nothing to worry about.
The reason that flight had the old IFE is because the plane is old the new fleet has the upgraded IFE system Emirates have a big fleet of 777-300ers they do use the older ones for less traveled routs most of the time I guess I maybe worng there
Oh yeah, it was a lot fuller for sure. Same with the return flight…it was packed! They have a great product at a very competitive price compared to other airlines operating the same route. Thanks for watching @emedianetwork
