I have been going down the rabbit hole of trying to figure out how to turn my illustrations into svg files and your video is, by far, the most educational and thorough tutorial I've come across. And you did it all in less than 9 minutes. Thank you so much!
I use a Silhoutte cutting machine, fortunately it makes it easy to convert files to .svg. Of course, I and many others appreciate knowing we have options. Thank you for great resources and tutorial. ❤
This is fantastic tutorial, I was waiting for this so long time as I am not a fun of Ai. Can you please tell me, if I have Affinity, can I directly transform my drawing in this application from JPG to SVG?
You can save an svg from anything you make within Affinity itself, but since it doesn't have an image trace (image to vector) tool, you'd need to use a 3rd party (like capture or express) to generate that first before cleaning up then saving 👍
Thanks for watching! I use svgs the most with my laser machine ( ruclips.net/video/Ftac3-pCfPc/видео.html ), I use the Cricut you see in the background for paper cut outs and for making stickers :)
Great video! I’ve watched two of your videos and quickly subscribed :) question - would someone ever want to export their procreate file as a png to illustrator rather than a jpg? Maybe if they’re just doing digital art in an RGB color profile?

Hi Teela! Thanks for this video. Is it possible to use Affinity to make an svg? I have the whole Affinity suite.

Hay great video, so what do you use for saving a SVG, also I see you a cutting machine, do you use it for making things? Thanks 😊

Teena, can you use Canva to do this?
Sorry, misspelled your name, Teela.
You just inspired me to try vectorizing my files in Silhouette Studio since I already have that software! Crossing my fingers!
You can use Canva, but it's a paid feature and you can't edit the points like you can with Illustrator
