The guards at the royal palaces in Denmark are by tradition conscripts. They go through the same training as the conscripts in all other Danish regiments but in half the time, and that includes training for their guards duties. That's why the regiment is notoriously disciplined and the training hard. In that time, they spend a week every month with continued training as infantry soldiers, at some training facility elsewhere in Denmark.

Turns out the bald guy wanted to bring the guards some ice cream.... so badly !

This is a hell of a good copper
Excellent reaction.
The other two cops don't believe in hurrying do they?
Straight to the dungeon
Dude rushes the soldiers while screaming like a maniac but these guys still dont even move a single muscle...incredible discipline
Watch the video again. The guards were turning to see what was going on behind them.
epic takedown and control.
Yes

The guards need to be guarded. WHAT?
Legend has it that those guards standing under the sun are still standing strong and firm till this day.
Don’t mess with the Danish Politi 😉👍🏻
The guards at the royal palaces in Denmark are by tradition conscripts. They go through the same training as the conscripts in all other Danish regiments but in half the time, and that includes training for their guards duties. That's why the regiment is notoriously disciplined and the training hard. After 4.5 months of training as infantry soldiers, they move to barracks in Copenhagen, where they serve as guardsmen to the royal family. In that time, they spend a week every month with continued training as infantry soldiers, at some training facility elsewhere in Denmark.
why does only one person seem concerned?
"here's your pizza"
So the guards need to be protected by the police? Why??
Useless guards who are just trained to stand still and do NOTHING when threats come their way.
Plot twist* the old man was just trying to drop off his son lunch box😋✌️
By bashing it on his heas
Also fun fact my dad was a royal danish army SGT he called the royal guards “ the Tivoli guards”
Quick work by the security guy - hope he got recognised
Yeah, except he´s a police officer, not a security guy.
@@wackadakka3134 He´s as close as every body else. This is Denmark, not the US. People don´t have guns in Denmark. Security is just fine. The police officer didn´t need to shoot him either. A lot greater work to run him up than standing far away with a gun.
What button would the guy be pushing? The one on the plastique bag?
These men and women should be respected for service and duty to country and state not bullied by assholes.
Imagine if that was your dad that hasnt seen you in years and couldn't resist running up to hug you. He was thwarted by police right behind you and you hear him crying for you but you're obligated to keep military bearing.
That'd be tough

What i dont understand is why the guards didnt react other than looking at him, they have full authorization to apprehend him, instead the police had to get him first.
They could've shot him if he got to them. They also had their backs turned, and only got a look at what was happening after he was apprehended py the officer
You cannot shoot someone just for attacking unarmed they would have laid him out on the floor and given him the taste of a rifle butt...
It's just mote convenient to have the professional police handle it, since they would be the ones who get transferred the prisoner over afterwards. In Denmark we want the police to handle things if possible
@@PrivateMarcus that’s right, but how do they know if he’s unarmed? i’m almost certain they’re allowed to shoot when the man is carrying a bag, there could easily be a bomb in there for all they know, i just think they don’t wanna do anything unnecessary like shooting him since there’s children around who could be traumatized by something like that, in my honest opinion a place like this needs more rules, and should be treated less like a tourist attraction
He's koo koo for coco puffs!
After all, "Kicks are for Tridds"
That cop who tackled him looked like he was in his late 50s or early 60s... OOF

@@stevetaylor8298 oh, I'm sorry. Aye bejity, the scrumdittly umptious coppers is 'ere agayn mate, don' get tackled or pummeled. WHERE'S MY TEA
Many years ago I served as a conscripted guard at the Swedish Royal Palace at Drottningholm where the Royal Family lives, and we had one nutjob, a woman who turned out to be non-violent, but she showed up in the middle of the night and tried to get into the sealed off area of the Palace. The thing is, one never knows who is harmless but mentally unstable, who is dangerous, who is just drunk and annoying etc. Although we don't see the buildup of this situation, it appears to have been a very swift an "clean" takedown by the Police officer, good work.
Police-wiking 💪💪🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
Kedeligt at nogen skal være sådan overfor livgarden
I was in the Royal Guards this year. If he had succeded in herass the soldiers he had probably been shot
No
@@NicoleTheDodo yes he would have, those guards aren't just trained to stand around, and that could've been a bomb
@@scarlettmanson712 yes but this is Denmark it's more likely that he would have been tackled and if it was a bomb then by the time they had gotten their rifles ready he would have detonated, and if it was a bomb he could also have been wearing a deadman switch
@@NicoleTheDodo the deadman switch part is very unlikely, if he had gotten close enough those guards would've turned on heel and shot him in the face
@@scarlettmanson712 really doubt that he would have been shot it's really fucking rare that anyone gets shot in Denmark
Alternate title: Police rescue man from 18 man firing squad
Shoking the guards just stood at ease.
Perhaps the police has the duty of protecting the Queen - but apparently also to protect the guards?
The Royal Guards protects the queen and the police protect the gaurds.
The guards were under command - and since the police officers had the situation sorted, no need for the guards to act independently, which they are allowed to do if a situaltion arises.
And the guards are allowed to open fire, if necessary.
@@dansrensen8592 They have never done it, they are only allowed to call the police, they have no authority. In the danish military they are referred to as tin soldiers
