When I was 38 years old I was severely injured in a Atv racing accident. Broke 7 vertebrates in my neck. My ribs broke loose from my sternum and punctured my lungs and tore the pulmonary around my heart they gave me a 10% chance of survival "That's what they told my family" I spent 5 months on life support and nearly two years paralyzed from the neck down. While I was in the hospital I could see a picture of my then 3 year old son and that is the only reason I survived. It's been 16 years now and by the grace of God and me being damned bull headed i'm able to walk normal, fish and hunt and do about anything I need to. I kinda stand crooked and lost the use of my right hand but that sure as hell beats the alternative lol. NEVER GIVE UP Pigman! I know that you won't because I can tell that you are probably just as bullheaded as me.

Now I have a son whose about to start high school and I looked back and I understand you when you said I wish I can back all the time starting when he was 3. God almighty isn’t that the truth. Thanks so much for sharing your life with us. You have an awesome family legacy. Thank you sir.

In Oct of 2018 I lost my father to ALS! He introduced me to archery and bow hunting. He taught me how to work for what I want. He was 63 when he dad. He was my hero. I worked side by side with him my whole life in the family handyman business! People who know always say I have the same mannerisms of him and I’m just like him in attitude! Honestly not a better compliment I can get! I miss him dearly.

I lost my son when he was 17 in a vehicle accident and I can confirm what you are saying. I took a job that didn't pay so good but I had lots of time off and spent that with my kids. Looking back I don't regret the fact that I am not rich because If I had all the money in the world I couldn't buy one minute of the time spent with my kids and that became ever more so important after my son died. I do like watching your videos with JD in the because he reminds me of my son.

Cry me a river for this gleeful animal snuffer. The hog situation is unique in that it gives this guy a cover story for his death hobby. Just don't confuse it with a true conservation ethic. These guys just like moving targets and have no soul in the game. If they didn't have that outlet, what would they be killing? Many of them would never go to war with armed people, e.g. Ted Nugent.
When ethical people see random stories of "sport" hunters injured or killed by their intended prey, they tend to favor the prey for good reason.
