I owned one of these until about 6 months ago, though I do think my current vehicle is better, there was just a charm and personality to this car that I still absolutely adore. Wonderful chassis tuning especially.
I have this car in phoenix orange in manual. I drove the new Elantra N dct and I still like driving this car more. It has enough pep to have fun. I just wish it was newer. It still looks sleek and looks better than the Elantra n.
So the reason I went with the ST was because Ford was no longer making them. i drove one back in 2016 and I absolutely loved it. My biggest mistake was not test driving any other cars. The whole process of buying the ST was over in a day. i didn't look at anything else, but if I did, i would have looked at the GTI and the Elantra Sport.

While I am a manual lover, the DCT fits the character of this car much more than the manual
i needed a brake own 2 personal manual cars already so I brought dct and enjoy it a lot more then driving my manual lol
