I just built 2 LDO 350 2.4s. Your videos have helped a bunch especially on the config side. I wish Ldo would actually take the Voron build guide and insert there changes. It’s definitely frustrating jumping back and forth.
I just built an LDO 350 kit. My first print looked better than anything from my Ender 3 S1 pro. As I said before, your video helped me get it running and I want to thank you again. I've got some recommended content for you to make if you're interested. A video on getting your printer tuned for printing Voron parts. A video explaining the first things you print for backup when you get it dialed in.
5:40 I would like a video about the printing of the parts. Maybe the parts that 100% need to be printed in forced 0.4 and the parts where the Arachne engine is fine to use.
Just found your channel and I'm looking forward to the coming videos. I'm just about done sourcing all the parts to build a 400^3 trident. Live streams from guys like Nero and Steve are great but watching dozens of hours to pick up all the useful tips isn't very time effective. 👍
Brilliant video mate, I wish this video was made 2 weeks ago when I started printing/sourcing the parts for my 2.4r2. I can’t wait for the next instalment 👍🇦🇺😊
Great intro. I am looking forward to this series and your thoughts on this printer vs the 2.4. Are you going with the Afterburner like in the pictures? That is one thing that I wish they could have a configurator for the manual. I know it would be difficult. All the options are great but if you could at least get a manual with the stealthburner instead it would make it easier for a newbie getting into the hobbie.
Very good point. I too noticed that the CAD has the AB and not the SB. I believe, at this point, there is no reason to go with the AB and I'm going to assume that the AB is shown just as a placeholder. The reason they don't call out the tool head in the configurator (Voron configurator) is because the platform is open to any tool head that can be mounted to the X carriage or anything really that can be mounted on the MGN rail. You are 100% correct that it's not clear - I wonder if there are folks out there who have sourced all parts and didn't realize they don't have a tool head until they actually start building. To answer the standing question - this build will be using the SB and a Tap, I feel that these are the current best options for me and the video series.
WHAAAAAAAA? Better than a 2.4??? I think not!!! Good video, partner! Good overall video detailing out the fact that you do have to jump around. That was a major major headache remembering to go check and see if there is something different in the LDO kit vs the actual Voron directions. This is definitely a good initial video for someone that's going to build any printer.
the dynamic mixing between background music and your voice is extremely annoying. every time there's a pause just long enough, the music comes blasting on momentarily, it's incredibly distracting
Thanks. I agree. No one else has mentioned it, but I agree. I stopped using music ducking to settle on just music at a low volume in the background. Maybe I'm just not great at getting those ducking settings tuned in... Any way you slice it, I agree. Big thanks for speaking your mind. I appreciate it!
AT 17:00 So true, it tripped me up more than once and spent more time going backwards undoing stuff just to reinstall something different.
Yeah - just a simple "LDO - Version" build manual could have fixed this insanity! So close...

100% agree! LDO ARE YOU LISTENING!?? Maybe I can do a PSA/Begging video! It would solve a lot of peoples problems.
Great intro video for the upcoming Trident Build! Thanks for the smooth launch.
Love my Trident, well worth the work!
Any tips!?

Always interested - The more comments the better I know what is on peoples minds or causing people headaches! Thanks!!!

Great to hear! I have a lot of personal tips!

Thats going to be one huge build. What do you plan to print on that beast!?
New great series, same great Kerm!
Shucks!
yess
Glad you approve!

Awesome - Well there is always time for learning!

Looking for Trident build Kermit. This printer is on my list for later this year, finishing a V0.2 first.
This one should be special. Staying away from LDO and other manufacturers kits and going more BOM.. There will be some fun additions on this build!

Maybe LDO will listen and fix that issue.. They have to notes, they just need to invest the time to make a modified manual for the build!
Well if they don't, at least you have mentioned it and I am sure you will highlight those differences when you do the builds like you have before.
Nice! My next build!
This should be fun!
Going to be interesting to see what printer you end up liking best, 2.4 or trident.
With the few additional items I'm adding... I have warm feelings toward this build!
