I skated with Jamie one day at Ybor City brick doubleset (gone now) and and when he didnt make his trick he then filmed me for over an hour until I got my pop shove it down the doubleset. kept switching batteries, even a new tape was put in to make sure he got it. When I landed it, a single finger touched the ground. The Chief told me to go back up there and do it again perfect. Next try snapped my board. Hurley and Sean Young were there too. A highlight of my life for sure.
Not many people do grabs down gaps, but I don't know why. Jamie makes them look so good. That front side melon from Thrill of it All is one of my favorite tricks he's done. Perfect trick for the perfect spot.
I used this song in a skate video the year Johnny Cash died and always wanted to see an edit with this song + actual skateboarding skill so this is cool. It works for The Chief.
I love this! To me the BS180 over the 12(or OS4) is one of the greatest in history. People (Jamie included) have gone bigger, but this......this single clip, made me want to skate till my bones and my joints quit! Thank you JT for inspiring a new era of big hit skating!
Best Chief edit hands down. Or hands up. Praise be to Allah. The Great Subdoer of Rails. The Immeasurably Late Front Shuv. We are not worthy to step in the temple of the sphincter.
As a non-skater, when I hear Jamie Thomas, I've always thought 3:27 . Interesting to learn he didn't stick it, but I guess anyone should've been suprised if he did.
If there's one thing I know well about Jaime Thomas, it is this. It doesn't matter how long, how steep or how awkward a ledge or rail looks. Jaime will hit that ledge or rail with ease soon enough.

Sick! I saw Jamie fifty the blue double kink rail in Calgary 2000 ish. First pro I ever met. Gnarliest dude ever ! 👏
I saw him rip in cowtown too! Absolutely fearless.
Fantastic as always, it's always rad that you use unique clips instead of the obvious
Is it possible for something to be too gnarly?
Seriously, Jamie Thomas f*cking shreds!
Yea I don't think anything will ever top him stomping the leap of faith.

My Mt. Rushmore of skateboarding; Heath Kirchart, Tom Penny, Andrew Reynolds and of course, the Chief.

I always wondered who that guy is that comes out randomly with no shoes an lip slides crazy rail
I love you so Jamie Thomas! B

Hail to the chief!!
Why is most of the footage all sped up?
❤️🔥

What song? And sick vid
Do you know what the second song is? I know it's still johnny cash.
Does anybody know the name of the trick he does at 5:47, at the Clipper in SF?
Impossible to 50-50
His 180 melon grabs are great!
Song? Thanks
When Jamie leaves the world the rails will cry 😢 his name and the kinker rails will sing his his name.
fuck yeah!
Jamie kills it, he's the chief and all. But I can't watch this without picturing Reese Forbes high ass pop in nothing but the truth.

It's a strange world for sure
Long live the Chief
Jamie Thomas resembles Farimir from LOTR.
Wow true
3:26 Jaws respond
02:11 , 2002 circa ad
I think he does the best looking smiths
Jamie Thomas is got more balls then a mcdonalds playground and hes got more sick skills than Ramsey because he is the true Chef!
Next up Corey duffel
This music doesn’t work
Wheres the christ air lol
i wish there was no music...
izak diaz Turn down your speakers genius
you like skate videos that have no music?? ok...
If the person who edited this could have chosen a different song, I'd be into it. I'd actually prefer no song as well.
Rasco B-Sides usually get more views then the original parts. so yeah..a lot of people like it without music...
