Someone needs to build a space ark and get some of humanity the heck out of there as far and as fast as they can go.

2:46 Usually, astronomers attribute a code to objects they discover - typically the name of the telescope + a number for reference.

This was basically a darker take on the hell star remina story from junji ito 😆

This was a good one. More like this please - simple, direct, interesting and different from much of what is produced in this space. 💪💪. By the way, I guess these monsters are basically the C’tan from Warhammer 40K?

You should do more science fiction with space ships like the forever war is a good book or the halo series your other stuff is good to

Awesome topic and story! thank you! did anyone else catch the plot blunder? If the Titan gobbling up systems was 30,000 light years away, all that stuff happened 30,000 years ago. I think we made it bro. should have kept yo mouth shut! Them space monsters don't want none of JESUS, baby!

We do not know how fast it travels.
It could take 40,000 years to come here, for example.
The actual blunder is that even our nearest neighbour galaxy - Andromeda - is something like 2.5 MILLION lightyears away. And yet the author spoke of another galaxy.
They kind of threw "galaxy" and "star system" around like synonyms, but no globular clusters, no gas clouds, no spiral arms, no other elements of a galaxy at all.

Aw hell I didn’t even consider all those plot inconsistencies. I’m glad there are smart more sober folks than me!

The Solar System refers, specifically, to Sol. Sol is the name of our star. Therefore, planets orbiting another star is a star system or that star's name system, not a solar system. Just sayin'.

Yeah, a lot of folks writing those stories sadly have no clue about astrophysics at all.

This happens ALOT with this "writer". I had to point out that subterranean refers to terra exclusively, not any underground dwelling. Don't expect much here.

Well read as always. Thank you.
Interesting concept but extremely poorly written. Worth a rewrite with some more effort put into research.

Oh man... the author of this one has NO idea how actual astronomy works, nor which terms apply to which concepts. Usually I can look past a certain amount of this and just enjoy the rest of the story, bit it's so constant and obvious here I just can't. That's not to say the narration isn't good, that part is as awesome as ever but the authors knowledge of the subject matter they chose to make their story about is so laughably poor I just can't take this one seriously. Bummer.
