Normally like your narration, but can't stand this one.
The writing of the story is poor, even for a short. Very disjointed in establishing its own foundation, and falls apart quickly. Only made it to about the halfway mark before I gave up entirely.
Also, the narration was jarring, long unnecessary pauses, followed by rushed delivery in tone unmatched to the story.
Not trying to dump on you, just saying that I know you're better than this, I've heard it.
