Firing up the printers. This is an amazing set! Thank you so much ScratchCampbell! Thank you Captain for making the vid!
"Standards!" needs to be the new intro for any video related to Auxiliary-standard equipment!
It will be.
Captain Xavier Awesome!
I was waiting to make my front end of my stryfle and this is Soo much better than mine. So glad something like this came out
I've always been curious where "Mk 2" in "Stryfle Mk. 2" comes from. Now I know. This was a very useful video.
Thanks Cap! Also thank everyone for their interest in this kit. Great video and thank you so much for the review!
i know this is a late comment but i just saw your etsy shop, i adore those foam grenades you have. im buying probably 10-15 of them soon to replace my green ones so theyre useable at public events. if i can get a squad of my own together, that'll be an even bigger order.
@@jimmusthegrimmace cool! I got a lot of them left. When you order just send a note and I'll make a custom order of whatever you need. One color or multi. Up to you!
@@campbellsnerfworks5235 oh thats awesome, thanks a ton! will these be items you keep in stock permanently or are they limited inventory?
@@jimmusthegrimmace got a bunch of them. I even have the belts that hold 8 of them
@@campbellsnerfworks5235 oh fantastic. expect an order within a few days. i was just asking before to find out if, once you run out, you would be restocking them or if it was a case of once theyre gone, theyre gone.
Surprised it took this long! Although a solid integration looks beautiful, being able to attach a masterkey'd magnus without permanently fixing it to your build is very very nice, and will be more readily available to the average modder!
I found the Campbell Nerf Works video on this earlier in the week and couldn't wait to see what you produced, "Standards" might the new battle cry of the Auxiliary right after BANGARANG! Campbell Nerf Works mentioned the possibility of a Rayven variant and that is something I would LOVE as the Rayven and then the Stampede are my favorite old school battery powered blasters.
Make it for the Spectrum, people won’t even need to mod anything for HvZ.
With the spectrum the front muzzle comes off, making this a lot easier potentially.
Thats a really good idea
Hmmmmmmmm, that would be very cool
Yeah exactly, especially because the strife version isn’t easily removable anyway, there is no need for a barrel attachment point.
I agree with this. It may be worthwhile to see if it would get a Nerf Barrel Attachment to replace the front muzzle and then revamp the kit from there.
I really like the under mounted Magnus. Cutting off the back of the slide to save space is genius.
The stock that came with the Accutrooper would look really good on the all orange one
Sadly enough, the Accutrooper stock doesn't actually latch on properly to the Stryfe.
Toby Derrikson oh man, that’s unfortunate
Where there's a will...
@@CaptainResident the worker stock should work then right?
@@hetspeelkwartiertjeslaatte2624 I believe it does, yes.
The magnus stryfle looks like a sci-fi blaster
Your stuff is a billion times cooler than the stock things! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us! Btw i saw that i did not subscribe yet. That mistake of mine has now been corrected!
The Magnus has also been discontinued. However, I think the BattleCamo Stryfe is still in production.
I likely won't build a Stryfle myself, but I will be using the concept once I start getting my modifications under control.
Really slick. I’ll probably only use the side rails as I am working on a longstrike barrel with a Chronobarrel integrated to hold my rail mount XBZ.
I saw this on FB and was instantly in love. And have already asked him to put out a longstrike version and Campbell said that he is working on it.
Who disliked? Honest opinion the blasters look great. Keep up the good work, X!
As a kid this seems great to be able to build a good amount of the struggle.
Dude thank you so much for this video, my dad and I just built our 1st one, my dad is 80 and now just getting into nerf,
We are calling it the Craigslist carbine, sense all parts were bought off craigslist,
Thanks a ton man! Happy modding
That is awesome!
Captain Xavier hell yeA! We are tying too figure out what we will build next!
I’m really Kensington towards a drain blaster
"Off brand version"
**cough**spectrum**cough**
Seriously, I'm stoked to see some of the builds utilizing DZ products. Ingenuity is in no short supply in the hobby.
honestly i was thinking more of the alpha strike stryfe bc it would be (probably) easier to make kits for and it's actually modable unlike the elite 2.0 one
@@stealy9608 the Flyte isn't easier to mod than Elite 2.0 at all, it's also solvent welded and clipped. That's where that whole thing started.
The Spectrum is more then likely gonna be the stryfes replacement. ^^
xXAngel_With_A_Shotgun Xx yup
@@Ragnarock227 I think the swordfish will
Rampage, retaliator, and hail fire were the first 3 elite blasters ever
Ah yes a worthy history lesson
I want this! I have collected the blasters and barrel but ran out of spare time to start. Fates deemed that wait worthy! No printer though :(
I like how now we don’t need this anymore, we can just slap a proud papa on a stryfe
Captian
Really cool going through all the versions. Thanks for taking us through the time-line. Keep up thr great work.
Bangarang
Great history lesson! I just used a hacksaw and epoxy putty to git er done!
this is great my friend. an offbrand one might be a Spectrum.
I can't wait to get a few of these for my HVZ loatout. I really want one made for a Long Strike barrel also. Now I just need to hire someone to print the kits for me (I really need to get a printer and learn to use it)
I really like the filling part on the recon stock! I’ve wanted that for like 12 years and ended up giving up a long time ago but I’m glad to be reminded of it again I’ll try to get one now!!!
people have also done this to a Rapid Strike
The Tri Strike stock/missile launcher assembly might be a good addition for people looking for even more projectiles.
Thank you captain Xavier for making a review on this because now I’ve gotten in contact with Campbell nerf works and I’ll be ordering one soon
Viking Foam Arms may be willing to sell this kit as well. It look incredibly helpful. Definitely plan to add a Magnus masterkey to my personal Stryfe now.
Now I'm having ideas about a mega master key on my Prometheus.
Despite everyone's complaints about it the Swordfish is more than capable for continuing the Stryfe lineage
I agree.
@@tatsuhirosatou5513 it gets way to much hate. So what if its slightly more asymmetrical, its still a functional stryfe shell that you cam work with. If people don't like it, then don't buy it
@@nerfdemon4072 personally I like the swordfish better. It looks cleaner to me.
@@tatsuhirosatou5513 same here. I find they are easier to paint and hydro dip as well
how does it continue the stryfe lineage? its just a shell. you still need all of the original minus the shell.
I’ve always wanted to see someone make something with a cyclone shock but it’s just unwieldy cause of how big it is! I was never able to figure something reasonable using it but i seriously hope someone will someday
On the nerf subreddit someone is making a rapid strike/cyclone shock integration
@@johnb3587 Isn't it a rapidstrike/rotofury integration?
I love the CampbellsNerfWorks kit!
That kit is just beautiful. I definitely need to get my hands on one. I've got a spare Magnus that I was intending to build a masterkey with and Stryfes are still relatively easy to find if I decide I don't have enough. Maybe someone could design a version of the pump grip with lips at both ends to assist with priming?
Love this kit. Already had the files loaded into my slicer about an hour before I saw this.
sweet parts. Can't wait to build another stryfle
The Stryfe is technically still available as the Worker Swordfish
Which is way smoother and has a longer grip
Not exactly. The Swordfish isn’t the most compatible with Stryfe cosmetic kits.
Great video I really loved the history of the strifel, it made my day that we bit better, thank you for everything you do its much appreciated.
Very interesting video,I knew very little about stryfles before this, I just realized Stryfe + rifle = stryfle!
Good video captain-- loved learning the history of the styfle---cant wait to build mine-- as far as new-- my best guess would be the spectrum-- I don't have my hands on one-- but it's on my list-- bang a rang
Yes yes that’s grand. Great video, I appreciate the history there and that kit does look great. Keep up the great work sir and stay safe.
Absolutely gorgeous!
I modded a mediator barrel to take 1 or 2 mega darts. I have a a 3d printed rod that I use to seal the end of one barrel if just wanna fire one. I also printed a replacement for the awful folding gray barrel portion of the attachments. Now i just gotta wait for HvZ
So awesome! Thanks for the video.
“The standard...is the standard.”
So, uh, regarding the future of this type of thing: I foresee one of two things happening, given how eeeehhhhhh I've heard Elite 2.0 is.
1. In my mind, the more likely scenario: future "Stryfles" are built atop something like the Dart Zone Adventure Force Spectrum. From what I've heard, the thing already hits like a lightly modded Stryfe out of the box, thanks to using 6 AAs rather than 4 AAs, and a 3D printed or otherwise aftermarket Spectrum front end and stock attachment adapter that allows for easy Stryfle conversions.
2. The far less likely scenario: Hasbro removes its head from the rear end of its digestive tract, faces the music, realize how much of a flop Elite 2.0 is, and how the brands making up Adventure Force are literally offering better, higher quality products at a lower price, followed by, if they have any sense at all, releasing Elite 2.1, which, while it would likely follow the same aesthetic as Elite 2.0, would go back to making the blasters more reliable internally and easier to open on account of right to repair, thus making it easier to mod, making the Phoenix a valid platform for a Stryfle type build, even if the aesthetics of the whole thing may need to be redone.
Now we just need the same thing for the Rough Cut!
Thanks for making the vid and Campbell you’re amazing
i posted mine in the aux chat like a week ago lol. i went with the modulus ecs-10 with the tri strike hamp and a customizer pack stock
This is really insane.
Awesome kit I’ve been watching it’s progress on Campbell’s channel. I love the old Roughcut masterkey. My old video is getting watched a fair bit now and I don’t know why. Stay safe
I guess I will just have to make one as I found a Stryfe and magnus side by side at goodwill today.
Noice!
Hafa Adai / Hello from Guam, USA...Cool... A new video...I love History so I'm digging this video on the evolution and history of the Crew's Nerf armament
Sup Xavier. Love the vids.
Keep it up!
Would love to see it sold. I don't have a 3D printer yet so buying it from someone who has the manufacturing figured out would be great. (Please Luke!)
For sure need that Spectrum kit
That's a good looking kit. I like it.
Production of the Stryfe may have ended, but I'd say that the Magnus is harder to source and will remain so for some time yet.
I'd look for the buzzbee baron, I believe they can still be found at 5 below last time I looked a few months ago, but may just be my local one, wont have as clean of an integration but will have the function needed
The Captain has fired the "Right Hand of the Free World"???
OH CAPTAIN, MON CAPITAN!
...I am left-handed... ;P
That couldn't have been very pleasant, having the right hand of the free world throwing hot brass in your face
@@seanmullen4003 literally tho
Might I recommend a kit for the dart zone spectrum, just a suggestion
Hey Captain!
Only recently got into modding in the last couple of years and don't really have anything worth sharing as far as aesthetics are concerned but I wanted to share one thing that I found, because I noticed a little wiggle on one of your stocks during the video and I feel like it's worth sharing.
I had a Captain Cassian blaster that I got a raider stock for, but I noticed there was a lot of wiggle between the stock and the blaster.
I had an old Recon sitting around and I noticed that the positions of the screw holes of the very short Stryfe-style N-strike stock lug and the Recon "buffer tube" style lug were almost exactly the same. So I swapped them out and re-attached my Raider stock and like magic the wiggle was almost completely gone.
My wife's Jyn Erso (the Cassian without all the bells and whistles) got a similar stock from the Nerf Super Soaker line, but I did not have another Recon stock lug to swap in, and there is a noticeable difference between the two now, in how firm my stock is as opposed to hers.
Just thought I'd share.
Keep up the great work man!
The second version of the Stryfle Mk2 kit as described at 7:45, the Mk2A2 kit.
Wish i could make one of these. I have a stryfe, but i dont have a magnus that i am willing to mod. The only magnus i have is sonic ice, and therefore i have no plans for modifications there.
Hopefully ill be able to thrift a magnus, because this is an awesome kit.
I kinda want to put a cycloneshock there, I have a battlecamo one and a battlecamo stryfe I think would look good together
Last time I was this early, i was born.
I love it it's exactly what I wanted too
Bangarang!
BANGARANG!!!
Hey nice video really enjoyed it I was wondering if you could do a unique barrel break mod, but only if you feel like it.
Waiting with bated breath for a manufacturer to begin selling these!
Personally I'd love to see a Magnus masterkey kit for yhe Adventure Force Spectrum! It's pretty much become the defacto Stryfe replacement that doesn't require any internal modifications or LiPo batteries to hit a comfy 100 FPS, and it's widely available =)
I am reasonable sure that is already a thing...
i know i posted this a year ago but i still swear by the modulus ecs-10. my battle rifle and the one most of my squad uses is the ecs-10. with the tri strike attachments in whatever combination you want will be a perfect battle rifle. theyre less common but people are selling them more second hand so theyre actually easier to get and they fire like stryfes.
Love it
Two potential designations for that final kit:
Stryfle Mk. II A1
or Stryfle No.2 Mk. I
It is technically the Stryfle M2A3, I believe.
Hell yeah!
Nice thing you're really good at this. Like too good. I learned my place long ago. I need not try because why bother
I’ll be doing a spectrum with a Magnus master key kit. It has better stock performance but will require more extensive modification for the master key
Notification Squad™.
well now I have 1 of this kit and am so excited to use it making my new build. quick question will this work on a swordfish.
Stryfle mark 1 looks like a FAL or m14 with pistol grip
Mark 2 is ar15 carbine
Mark 1 rough cut looks like a m16 with under barrel ‘Nade launcher
Standard “mark 3” or “M2A1”is a M4 with under barrel ‘nade launcher
MK2 is M2A2 looks like a Famas unbulped with ‘nade
(Commenter note) this is my opinion and the M2 is used for ease because mark system is hard to use if a person knows one variant
honestly since i dont have a retaliator barrel or a (functional) stryfe i might just grab the slide for the magnus since mine broke a while back and i havent been able to use it since
Ok pretty interesting
Oooh new intro
I know the flight from the alpha strike like makes an ok bolter with little modification
That is one beautiful nerf gun.
0:45 Accurate!
i think you should use holiky stryfes since they are cheaper and have selectfire
Must have 🤑🤤
I kinda like the looks quit a bit
I think it’s time for a stryfleaven
Working on something like this with a stratohawk and a takedown.
You should do a video on how to replace demolisher rockets with broken or missing fins
How to replace the rocket or how to replace the fin. The fin is easy.
1. Go to craft store and buy craft foam and contact cement
2. Cut out a triangular fin.
3. Glue on fin.
5. Profit?
Personally, I’ve always loved the Magnus longshot front barrel integration. Any idea on how to make a Mavic work with the retaliater barrel, specifically, adding a bolt to the maverick handle and methods to affix it to the rail.
Screws to affix it. A bolt for the bolt. A long thin one. Then add some handle material.
@@CaptainXavier thanks! I now have stock springer and flywheel primaries. Does the blaster count as stock if the internals aside from the rev trigger and removing the rev lock remain the original. Also adding a N strike barrel attachment lug to the desolater and a new pump grip to the mediator?
Am I the only one who loves the mk1?
Greetings, my liege. How's it going?
It could be cool if we were to get worker to injection mold the kit
