Actually, I one time managed to get it to come off after hitting it up against a cardboard box sideways. Only managed it once, couldn't figure out how I did it after trying to do it again 10 times with no success.

After watching coop's review I checked the Amazon reviews. The positive reviews were, guess what, actual reviews. The negative reviews were all like," my son got this as a Christmas present. He was disappointed because it was to big, and it didn't come in the original packaging."
Lady it's a "sniper rifle", its gonna be big. And there is no original packaging.
Reviewer probably wanted a refund for it so she could get it for free.
A lot of the bad reviews said it barely shot 20ft

The Elite Longshot doesn't have great stock performance but the internals being practically identical to the original means you can still turn it into a beast of a primary with some aftermarket parts and a screwdriver.
Oh well back to nerf after exactly 8 months, 15 days, 5 hours, 1 minute and about 26 seconds

Man this was a throwback blaster. I remember using one for my TF2 Sniper cosplay back in 2015. It had some orange modworks kit in it and had some solid performance for 2015. Happy it made a return

Now this is a throw back to my childhood
My only problem with this release is that Hasbro chose to release it with Raptorstrike mags, however they didn't change the stock mold at all to accommodate the sloped mags. Because of this, the mags can only be inserted into the storage stock one way, and they hold a lot looser than regular 6 round mags. Take a look around 4:26 - there is a guide in the stock that lines up with 6 rounders, but has no chance of working at all with Raptorstrike mags, since they have to be inserted the other way. Other than that, I love this release!
I kid you not, around 2 years ago I was into nerf and had always wanted a long strike, with the modulus scope, the raptor strike magazines, but the longstrike was so hard to find. Two years later they release that exact gun, now I'm more into BB guns...
And now I'm too old to buy nerf guns, not being a collector or nerf-game-player.
