Blue is looking great. You’ve got a whole hoof care station going on there. 🤩 Thank goodness you’ve got the stand to save your back. Your metal hook pick thing is great!
My new loan, he also need his hoofs cleaned every day and with something called Optima wash we use on the hoofs. I'm so happy to see Blue getting better and he gets so much good care
"It's chaos!" says Demi...would even been a Raversmead vlog without a healthy dose of chaos?! 😂😂 I'd be scared to start poking around at a horse's hooves, I'm glad to hear it doesn't do any damage!! My horse doesnt have back shoes, and I'm always a bit dainty about cleaning his back hooves out! 😂
@@Siobhan_Shivaun it's always chaos around here 🤣🤣🤣 I'm still a bit nervous about it tbh, I just have to keep reminding myself what the farrier does to their hooves. I always used to tip toe around flappy bits of frog for example, and then the farrier comes along and hacks it straight off with a knife 😂 the more I started thinking about stuff like that the less I was worrying
You're very inspiring in your attention to detail and consistency (haha or stubborn as you Say ) ~with his hoof problem ! My Cob has a few hoof problems and I become a bit discouraged with progress ~partly because i'm not diligent enough! Thanks for the inspiration!
Well it did take the horrible realisation that this problem can have the same end results as laminitis (pedal bone rotation 😳). I think I was living in blissful ignorance until I read that. I know exactly what you mean about becoming discouraged, it can be so up and down dealing with this and sometimes in the past I have wondered if what we were doing even made any difference. I think this time we are finally moving in the right direction though 🤞
@@PonyFunWithCloverJasmine poor Angel. Although there seems to be a pattern here ... Sweet itch, crappy feet, problematic personality 😂 they are two peas in a pod Blue and Angel!
I need you to find me the name of the little silver pick!!! You are now my enabler 🤣 you’re such a good coblet mum ❤️ and equally the ADHD brain comes in handy! His feet are your current fixation 😂 xx
They are 'hook and pick set for removing o-rings , seals and gaskets' Set of four tools , from eBay , really cheap. Actually garage tools , but if it works use it 😊
Your perseverance, tenacity and care has paid off. Lesson to us all. Well done!
