Creating new & more sustainable routines (hacking & chatting) / Equestrian VLOG

- Welcome to another hacking & chatting video guys. Not really a horsey one today but more of a chat about trying to regain control over my life. Summer feels like it has been so busy (even though we haven't really done anything) and now the darker nights are rolling in I have been feeling so overwhelmed and so tired all of the time, so I decided it was time for a change up.
Videos will likely be staying at one upload a week for the time being while I get into the new routine. The early bedtimes are great, but they do mean I can't stay up until 11pm every night editing now 😂 I'm hoping as the weeks go on and I gradually become more and more human again I will be able to go back to two a week.
If you are enjoying our videos and would like to see more then please like, comment and subscribe. Thank you so much for supporting our channel!!

Everything you said makes sense. Sleep is so important. She was sluggish to begin with wasn't she, but livened up. Hope this week isn't too wet. I may need see a chiropractor or osteopath for my shoulder but it's finding a good one, as previously I've had good & not so good experiences. Yes sometimes overtime/extra money just isn't worth it in the long run when u balance your own needs. Nice canter. Luv hearing the robin singing away at the beginning.
So important ❤️ I hope you manage to find someone to help you out
My goodness 5 hours asleep is not enough, glad your taking some time for yourself and re structuring your days.
Sleep is so important. If I even have a couple of late nights I can’t cope.
Don't I know it ☹️ But the daft thing was that I just didn't realise! I just kept ploughing on getting more and more tired (and grumpy). It's so easy to just keep doing things and not realise how much of your time it's consuming
Makes a lot of sense; only so many hours in a day!!
Feels like there is never enough of them too!
Happy to hear that you’re taking care of yourself Ravers, it’s so important otherwise you’ll burn out, and Nelly was a good girl as usual, tfs x Julie
I think I did burn out tbh, took that for me to realise! Nelly is the best ... So steady and reliable. You always know what you will get from a Nelly ride ❤️
Glad you are taking care of yourself. extra money is always nice, but sometimes you have to put yourself first
Absolutely, there has to be balance
Im constantly tired, my vit B12 regularly goes low, which causes a lot of the issues...but there's also the problem of eating enough to keep my body functioning. It takes a lot of effort to be chronically ill! I sussed that out a few months ago and started eating more on the days I go shopping (which is a 3 mile round trip, on foot), and the extra calories deffo helped. Thus morning I didn't eat as much as I should have (because I needed to get into town and back before it started raining again), and by 'eck I'm suffering for it now!! It was also very warm, so that didn't help!
I also have a wonky pelvis, haven't been to a chiropractor about it, not sure there's anyone near me, and travelling is a huge problem for me..
Crikey that sounds like hard work ☹️ how do you deal with the B12 issues? I keep wondering if this is part of my problem with the fatigue
@@raversmead it's tough, but I'm Gen X, so I just get in with it! Doctor can check your bloods, and if the B12 is low they'll give you injections.
A few years ago they changed the numbers as to what was considered low, from 500 something something to 200 something something, which is completely ridiculous.
A lot of GPs don't even think it's a problem!
I buy a spray that you squirt on the inside of your cheek which is better than nothing, but the doc won't give me the injections any more...
I am only 2 minutes in to your video and you may mention later on I don't know yet but have you had a full blood count done? I have hypothyroidism and physically can't function without my medication to the point I would have to sleep before I could even perform a normal task. You're description is very similar especially with the eating etc..
@@PonyFunWithCloverJasmine I have had bloods done multiple times but it always comes back ok, apparently. We have thyroid problems in our family so it's always on my radar. I also wonder about vitamin deficiencies, but I do try my best to eat well and stay balanced so unless I have some kind of dysfunction that depletes certain vitamins, I can't see how that could be. My body is a mystery.
@raversmead hmm how strange 🤔 mind you I can't function without 9 hours sleep even with my medication. Sleep is my saviour!
