I own nothing. Music and clip are all property of their respectful owners. Tom Hollander whistle in "Hanna" 1080p (The Devil is in the Beats by The Chemical Brothers)
Did you realize that everytime he whistles, he intends too o kill? When he thinks about hanna, when he kills that guy with a pen and when hanna climbes in top of those tank thingies... I call it the murder tune. In my opinion it is so hard to think that such a catchy and almost childish tune like this could become so creepy. I love this movie, and I love Saoirse!! (YES I DID TRAIN UNSUCCESSFULLY TO TRY HAND BECOME LIKE HER!)
This movie is fucking ace in my book in every way... acting, script/screenplay, filming/cinematography the no-cut public transport down the the parking garage fight scene, soundtrack, framing from the very beginning to the very end... so underrated.
That no-cut scene is so good, and the movie isn't flashy about it. Many people watching the movie doesn't even notice it. The entire movie is full of impressive and subtle cinematography, and it's one I never recommend to average viewers but film buffs will have a field day with it.
Agreed, it took me so long to figure out where in the heck I recognized him from, and then I realized it was from Mission impossible rouge nation, he was the UK prime minister!
it's so sick because you can infer that not only is everyone in that family going to die and possibly be tortured, and there's already blood on his tracksuit so he probably already tortured/killed the father. but here he's whistling this catchy childlike tune and taking a stroll as if he didn't have a care in the world. this moment more than any has stuck in my head all these years
I just watched the clip in context. The father is in the last container on the right being question by Blanchets character. The whole family is unharmed at that point. You know where I think the blood came from? The dog barking at him as Hanna escapes by jumping into the water. The last thing you see before this scene is him turning around visibly angry and walking towards the dog. Fuck.
Times were tough for Lord becket after he died he was Reincarnated into an arian transgender lover who was on the verge of insanity and also had a personality of a phycotic killer all the fault of that dam pirate jack sparrow sorry Captain Jack Sparrow
The psych trick right down to the whistling is a lift from the film Twisted Nerve starring Hywel Bennet by the Boulting Brothers, music by Bernard Herrmann. Tarantino also used the Herrmann whistle tune in Kill Bill. I keep hearing one and my ears mix into the other, it's freaky
Ive heard this when i was a kid when my brother was watching this movie ive always had this tune stuck in my head tho as i watched it as a kid ive been traumatised tho watching it now when older the movie is truly amazing
is it just me or is this a particularly tricky whistle? I can replicate most whistles pitch perfect with little practice... but I cant seem to get this one quite right, especially that little flourish at the end
you are not alone, i can whistle most tunes just fine but this is on a whole different level. whenever i try to do the last high pitch part my whistling just turns into blowing lol
The actor that is whistling in this clip is the villain in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. The East Indian Trading Co. Captain, just an fyi. This song is stuck in my head too :)
The scene just before this scene, where he was running after Hanna and stops running just before the water where Hanna jumped in, he didnt have all that blood on his outfit, I figured it had to come from disposing of all the bodies of his team that Hanna massacred. The movie never led in to what happen to the family after questioning, I hate to think that they all ended up dead stuffed in a shipping container.
Красный Волк I was trying to find this scene..I kept asking "it's a blonde assassin whistling?" So many mf directed me to kill bill.they swore thats what i was talking about...then I finally found this clip and showed them.
This stuck in my head too. Was dying to figure out the tune. Shazam failed me. Thank you for naming it. Also, you may recognize this conspicuous character/actor in Pirates of the Caribbean, with a powdered wig and just as nasty. 😉 great actor!
8 years later and this whistle noise is still stuck in my head 😂😂😂
100% that’s what led me here
I got it out
But needed it back in my head so I came here
I'm here because of that reason
Dawg!!! Exactly
Bruh I had to RUclips this just to remember the full whistle
I love these kinds of characters that are created to seem to neutral and simple but are in reality deadly and extremely dangerous. Loved this movie.
do you know the movies (or books) with similar characters?
@@LynxPerr i think the joker (the joker) and Craus (detroit) is one, thr bonus (hannibal lecter).
Like Villanelle!
A real psycho killer.. and weirdo. "She has both male and female genitalia"
What about the wolf Death from puss in boots the last wish?
In a higher budgeted movie with more screen time, that role would have gotten him an Oscar
One of those little moments of cinematography
love this tune, is makes him so much more sinister.
I had a large and mean looking petty officer in bootcamp always walk down the halls whistling this and it was actually terrifying
Julian Hess lol ship 02
Haha dude that was my RDC. He whistled kill bill too.
He was my brothers RDC haha

I like this & the kill bill whistle

Djon Curley oh whoops.... sorry I completely miss read that. My apologies.
same the only whistle sounds i like in the world
@@djoncurley His suit even looks like the kill bill suit!! :D

I thought Tom Hollander was magnificent in this evil supporting role, award worthy in fact
Agreed, it took me so long to figure out where in the heck I recognized him from, and then I realized it was from Mission impossible rouge nation, he was the UK prime minister!
He's also the British captain in pirates of the Caribean
And, guys, he's also really good in a small Russell Crowe flick called a A Very Good Year
@@chadmoodybto4620 thank you I'm going to check that out

This film was so good. Like a modern day Grimm fairytale. I still constantly whistle this
this character had so much potential in it...
Randomly remembered this
The way the henchman is prancing angelically across containers in the back with his little light makes this scene
Angelically/demonically, fairytale (Grimm's)
Best guy in the whole movie
All I see is Lord Beckett with Blonde hair...And a bloody track suit O_O.
yes oh my god that was all I could think of when watching this movie!!
And we don´t get an answer to that bloody track suit. In the previous scene his clothes are clean... Deleted scene?
@@fredrikklint3749 maybe from torturing the family
@@fredrikklint3749 I think he killed the dog from the previous scene.
finally i found it
Chemical Brothers - The Devil Is In The Beats i love that song
The Dolley opens with a wide shot and slowly moves to character who starts walking as it gets there. Great song and shot.
This film really makes me see him as a very talented and underrated actor.
For anyone who is looking for a full version //
The chemical Brothers did the soundtrack
The song is called ... the devil is in the details
One of the very best movies and best movie scenes I have ever scene !!!! Thanks for uploading !!!

im gonna walk around with that pipe thing in a tracksuit and whistle that

Aw thats cute, they’re singing together.
I still whistle this to this day

I love how it went from sounding like crap and reverb to a masterpiece.
This tune and the ice cream man always gets stuck in my head.
I loved this movie, I feel like I never hear anyone mention it. Plus the soundtrack, The Chemical Brothers, amazing.
Still stuck in my head!
Havent seen this film in nearly 10 Years so why did this suddenly just start singing it!
That song never left my mind, even though me and my family thought this movie was crap on movie night
The Devil is in the Details, and the Devil is in the Beats by Chemical Brothers.

This scene look like it straight out of some music video
Really memorable moment
To say this movie really went anywhere would be overselling it, guys, come on..
I love the Film. Actress great. Music
CB.
Hello Hanna. I had missed you. Just in time. You are here. Thank you and welcome.
i wonder how many takes this scene took?
i like this whistle
I still whisle this
Another nice subtle use of a skinhead henchman without overdoing it. Same with 'Ray' from Lord of Illusions.
The actor that is whistling in this clip is the villain in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. The East Indian Trading Co. Captain, just an fyi. This song is stuck in my head too :)
Tom Hollander is at best here🤙
Yes.
i did this at home really cool song
We need a whistle version like this of the full song. It’s %100 more creepy then tip-toe through the tulips and i’m so happy combined.
Actually the villain in Skyfall is played by Javier Bordem (idk if I even spelled his name correctly).
The way tracksuit guy was running was hilarious 🤣

I think he killed the dog
Trying to whistle just like him.
Same man
I love this movie so much
Lord Cutler Beckett!
HI Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to work we go. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Better than kill bill whistle
We bare bears theme song always reminds me of this
I Set this on my phone Alarm !
I wish I could whistle that clearly...
The tune is this:
THE DEVIL IS IN THE BEATS
By:
THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS
No... The Devil Is In The DETAILS. Think before commenting.
Benjamin Weagant Yeah this same tune is also in The Devil Is In The Beats but the main tune is The Devil Is In The Details.
Benjamin Weagant it's actually the devil in the beats

Came here after the seeing the new Hanna remake trailer
HE REMINDS ME OF ALEX DELARGE FROM A CLOCKWORK ORANGE
When I watched this movie I thought it was weird how it was framed kind of like a Wes Anderson film
It semms like that he showed up in "no country for old man"
I am sure but maybe
Me gusta esta escena ,😜
jak2me no. that guy is Javier Bardem, i thought it was the same person too. Javier is from No Country for Old Men and this guy is kinda random
Still can't whistle those high notes like him
Same
You know... this reminds me to kill bill....

Bro i still cant do this whistle until now 😭😭😭
Just watched the movie. I can did it, although not 100% close. But good enough.
@nightjj Thats the cool part.
But what song is this
Must have been a scene that got deleted. We don´t get any explanation why Isaacs (Tom Hollander) clothes are bloody.
He got punched in the face by the girl before she escaped.
@@maltehenryk1409 Yes but he runs after her and she jumps in the water. No blood on his clothes then.
@@herrf4027 Might also be from that thug of his that got stabbed or it's just a common movie mistake.
Running after Hanna a dog is seen and heard barking, after she escapes him being upset he kills the dog.
Too bad his fighting ability didn't match his whistling.
prachtig moment lijkt op dancers inde dark van Bjork.
@monkeyboy8me that was singing in the rain...
@Lastofthefreenames lol i made it one before i uploaded this video
Cody Ko after retiring RUclips
