It's great to see that you're all settling in now & it's clear you're enjoying applying all you've been learning the past few years by doing. Soon you'll be "reaping what you've sown" & happily eating the veggies & fruits you've planted, & the animals you're raising now. We're all cheering you on.
I can’t laugh at the things you don’t know how to do partly because you and your family are so wonderful and because I just adore you all! Electric chainsaw, and I saw how you just dropped it and ran each time you cut down a little tree! Oh well, I retired and bought a farm and built a new house. The neighbors scratch their head each time I go do something weird because I grew up in the city! I’ve told them that I have no idea what I’m doing! I planted 150 fruit trees in my hay field. I put in a 10,000 sq ft garden with a super high fence to keep deer rabbits, and raccoons out. Now I have a greenhouse and I stocked the pond. It goes on and on. I’ve been here doing these improvements for 7 years now. Time passes so quickly!
Love your new adventure ..and seeing the whole family being involved in developing a piece of land into a happy homestead! How exciting! Thanks for taking us along🌺
Your channel is just getting better and better! Love seeing Penelope planting the first tree of your orchard and that chicken coop, what a blessed find!!! Keep it coming, prayers that you explode with more subscribers…… come on John Deer these folks deserve a tractor 🚜
Jason excellent idea to give the Beef Bros extra hay . Whatever they don't eat will get spread on the ground and help build the soil . Greg Judy unrolls entire round bales across his sections for cows and sheep .
All the trees you are cutting down you need to hire a big wood chipper and mulch them all up and spread them around your fruit trees as thick as you can.
Buy your self a wood chipper. You got the raw material to make lots bedding for your critters. 5 apple tress will give you more apples than you know what to do with. Apples are fairly easy to grow, processing your harvest is another matter.
I'm so excited to watch you guys as you build your new homestead! The different older buildings like the chicken coop are so cool, it's like a treasure hunt :) And thanks for sharing the link to the chicklift! Ben Hollar showed it when he was moving the tractors to your new place and I couldn't find it when googling. When I'm ready to build tractors, I'll definitely let them know you sent me :)
Jason and Lorraine and Penny, Loving the content! Every post is a wonderful new adventure that you're taking us on and we get to learn with you along the way. Loved the ending of your family sitting around the fire totally relaxed, eating your own food, on your own land. Now that is pure satisfaction. What more could you ask for... simply beautiful.
Hi, Jason, Lorraine, and Miss P. Your new place is very nice especially the house. The hard wood floors are a pleasant surprise. So happy you settled here.
So happy for you all! Everything is already coming together so nicely!! Love the chicken coop you found on the property!! 🐓Can't wait for the next video!! 🥰
Moved to a 15acre property in 2020 that had been neglected for years. I have found so many cool things while cleaning it up. It’s fun making the discoveries as we go.
I was worried people would be critical of your work on taking down the trees, but everyone I've read was so kind and encouraging! I grew up in the city, too and would have no clue. I would have no idea! I will have to put a chainsaw safety class on my to-do list. You all are wonderful. Thank you for sharing, poco a poco
thinking> "Wow! I did not know you could can your own chicken." while watching this. Then thinking, "I wonder what its canned in?" And you answered! I'm so glad I discovered this channel. Constant little gems like this! You learn something new everyday!
This was a great video - enjoyed it so much and can feel the relief of getting so much done. The secret coop looks really useful. Great day and your future was planted - apples!
when you did the aerial of your property I just had to say it again...good for you guys...good for you. I am so excited to see how it will progress over the years. Lorraine your chicken and rice casserole looks yummy. I make that dish myself. I love rice 😁. if I was closer Jason I would gladly give you a hand cutting the trees down. I'm a couple of states away though. lol...I have commented more since you got your new property than I have in the four yrs or so since I have been watching y'all. I'm usually the silent type 😉. God's blessings to the family 💕.
Offer a slab of beer to the first person who comes out to turn the power on. It works for my brother every time, he gets stuff done in hours. Dinner looked delicious and eating outdoors is the best.
Jason, you're learning as you're going and the property is going to be everything our envisioned six years ago. Yes, a lot of work in between now and then but your return-on-investment is going to be great. You will feel a connection to this land unlike anywhere you've lived before. The old chicken coop looks like a diamond in the rough and with a little time and attention it will be a nice facility for you to use. Keep up the great work!
Looks like you all had a great day on the homestead. So glad you got your "envisioned" land Jason... Your patience and all you learned on your 1 1/2 acres will surely pay off. I'm very happy for you. Happy Spring !!!!
I love seeing this move to a new property and how you have to figure out where to put things, what to work on first. It’s a lot and can be overwhelming. I’d love to have a large property, but I’m not ready for the amount of work it takes. And the knowledge I still need. I also loved seeing that there was no time for preparing a big meal. I find myself in that problem often. Haha! But y’all made a delicious meal anyway! Love it!
Is so nice to see all the work you guys are doing. Is great that you planted those apple trees, they take a while to fruit. We have 4 acre property in the Midwest. We are waiting for the frost to end and start planting our spring crops. We have a big garden, orchard and a lake to enjoy here. It has been lovely to have it to have our boys grow up experiencing the joy of having land, animals, veggies, fruits, flowers, fishing and wild life. We just got 3 ducks and love having them. I enjoy watching all you guys do to make your vision come true. Happy Easter.
We have the same dinner a lot. One of our favorite. So easy but so comforting. Eating it by the fire tho has to be a step up. Your farm is amazing! What an achievement!! That will bless your family for generations to come!! Happy spring farming!!
Pretty cool you saw this place and it waited for you to get yourself ready for the experience. You did right Jason getting the 1 and half acres first...kudos❣️
Your property with the horse set up is exactly what I want for my homestead. And 14 acres is over my minimum requirement of 12 acres, but 20 would be better. I grew up on a farm of a little over 100 acres so I had a perfect playground.
My husband uses his battery chain saw for all the junky brush, and doesn’t use his gas one too. He also doesn’t have much experience cutting stuff and is nervous about the largest stuff
Hello from Mardela Springs Maryland!!Love watching your vlogs with Jason's sense of humor and the sweet disposition of Lorraine and Penelope!! Can't wait to see how your farm progresses and learn a little something along the way 😍
Love every minute of this and every single thing you're doing. Thanks so much for taking us along. Can't tell you how happy I am to see you on this wonderful new property! :)
I love clearing wild places! This in no way is meant to rain on your parade, but you need to research Cedar Apple Rust a pathogenic fungus that needs both trees to reproduce. Removing the little cedar starts can reduce the chance for this to develop.
A great days work I like that yous can sit by the fire just outside your back door too...jason you make me laugh with your Ive never really cut trees b4 nek minute lorraines got you chopping down 4 trees for the apple trees...penelope is a good help too...great video guys so exciting watching yous grow...😊
We’re on a roll in building a Homestead in this the same thing I think every time we turn around we have to chop some thing down I get it God bless you guys thank you for sharing what a wonderful video by
So excited for you , the property is beautiful and to find an old chicken coop was really neat ! Every one is timid about cutting a tree down unless you are a pro… and in my experience even the pro let one fall on top of my barn. It looks as if you’re getting the hang of it ! 🐖❤️
It's great to see that you're all settling in now & it's clear you're enjoying applying all you've been learning the past few years by doing.
Soon you'll be "reaping what you've sown" & happily eating the veggies & fruits you've planted, & the animals you're raising now.

You are definitely off and running!
Rome wasn't built in a day you doing a great job

LMAO " get one of these it will release the stress " your advice is the best. Rely enjoying your adventures.
Thanks 👍
I kinda chuckled at Jason's obvious fear of falling trees 🤣 You'll get it 👍 annnd with that property you'll be a pro 👊
I cannot express the JOY I feel watching you cut all those weeds and trees...lol! It is exposing ALL the beauty of that property. Love it! ❤️
Nice and quiet at the new place. It's really nice not to hear a neighbors dog barking at you like the old place for 6 years!
Love your new adventure ..and seeing the whole family being involved in developing a piece of land into a happy homestead! How exciting! Thanks for taking us along🌺
Thanks! Glad you are here

Elvira has beautiful colorings! Love how cooperative your animals are. That shows trust and husbandry skills!
Peace on your doorstep!

I would hang some colored string off the branches or the trees so you see them when you mow.
Happy people, happy life!
Looks like you have had a very good day. Hard work, but it does pay off in the end. God bless and keep growing.
Love your pigs. Can't wait to watch the progress of the remodel of the new homestead so excited for your family.
Watching you all at the end eating dinner around the fire I noticed how beautiful the property looked, very peaceful.
Offer a slab of beer to the first person who comes out to turn the power on. It works for my brother every time, he gets stuff done in hours. Dinner looked delicious and eating outdoors is the best.
This is one of the few channels that i am actually excited to see your next video , Good Stuff

Old trees come out, new fruit trees get planted 💚 You are really making progress! Has that property been sitting empty for the past 6 years?!
Beautiful property, guys!
And lots of free firewood!
Casey over at Honey Tree is pretty good at tree work. Reach out for tips

Nice hicken c. Y'all ( 3 of you ) are a great team !!!!! I bet you will turn the 'old' chicken coop into a great place for your layers...
Your new property is BEAUTIFUL!

That canned chicken looks delicious! Thanks sharing the progress y'all have made on the new farm/homestead!
Jason, you need to watch a couple of RUclips videos on how to take down a tree! 🤣🤣🤣
Living the dream. So awesome.
It's strange to see you folks on another piece of land. The possibilities are almost endless.
I like your dining room table there at the end. 🙏❤️
I love your new kitchen, that quaint country feel is lovely.
Looking better everyday guys...

Jason, you gotta learn how to wedge cut 😊😁😜
Definitely a productive day on the homestead! Live well!
More of your indoors renovation! The first room got great :-)
My husband uses his battery chain saw for all the junky brush, and doesn’t use his gas one too. He also doesn’t have much experience cutting stuff and is nervous about the largest stuff
You do need a limb shredder. All that carbon will make excellent mulch.
New spot is awesome man congratulations 🎉
Hello from Mardela Springs Maryland!!Love watching your vlogs with Jason's sense of humor and the sweet disposition of Lorraine and Penelope!! Can't wait to see how your farm progresses and learn a little something along the way 😍
