It's wonderful having neighbors that can help each other the way you do. Plus you get to share a meal and socialize. Don't overwhelm yourselves with getting animals too quickly.
LOvE these videos. I especially like your running commentary on what is happening. You have a really good voice that makes me feel at home and truly interested in what you're doing. Thank you and take care, DA
I love the Family/neighbor work party days. That's the way communities should work. It always feels good to get organized. Your beefy boys are so mellow. 💖
Is smart to pace yourself before you have too many animals, especially if house project still need to be done. You don't have to do anything unless you are ready for it.
Jason, God blessed you with this amazing homestead. I congratulate you, Lorraine and Penelope for all you have done to turn a rundown farm into a prosperious farm. You're subscriber are increasing daily because we love you.
Keep up the good work. I’m sure your it is a daunting task, but you are making the decisions that work for you and your family and that’s the important thing. 🙏🏻
Jason, as you pointed out, you have more than enough on your plate without adding more animals. Sort what you can when you can and then move on is wise.
Black berries are yummy one of my favorite berries The cow will make it more manageable but wont eat them all Its pruning naturally:) You should have them fertilized and ready for harvest season this year and next
Pasture raised ….there is a difference from free range…..well in Canada there is …I buy pasture raised eggs that are allowed to scrap around on the earth ….free range can be kept in a barn just not in coops…….love your blog and all the best in your new prospects. L.A🇨🇦
Jason, we are at about the same stage with our homestead. We have so much to do and time crunches to get things done. I have to keep reminding myself that my timeline expectations need to chill! It is exciting and frustrating at the same time. But I can see progress on your farm and ours. I just want it all done now!
Ahhh goats. They will take care of those brambles for you, but they might be more trouble than they are worth at this point. I love our goats and as our main dairy animal, they are the center of our homestead. We are lucky that they respect our Premier one netting, but I think we are a rare case lol.
Love your channel, videos ,creativity and editing. Easy watching and u keep me entertained, inspired and intrigued to see more. Curious if pig is pregnant or not ! Keep up the awesome work. Thank u.
goats and sheep are hard to contain without a woven wire perimeter fence. Don't do either of them without a good perimeter fence. the cows if trained to a wire still need a perimeter fence, but you can get by with a 5 electric wire fence which is much less expensive than a woven wire fence.
Hi..... Jason and Lorraine nice to see you, thank you for showing your video homestead 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👕🐔🐓🐣🐥🐕🐄🐖🌱🏡🎥👍👍👍
Just beginning to watch you consistently That pig is gorgeous. Good to see the Hollars helping out. So exciting to watch you build this up.
