Lol... West Virginia must have a big bridge there. Yes it does, it's called the New River Bridge and every October they shut the road down so people can parachute off of it. A few have died trying.

It was hunted out for some detector. Maybe detector with different frequency doesn't see those things... and concentric vs dd... I know what I found when I changed to G2.

Yeah, it's really strange how I can go back and pull a small handful of coins - some not very deep at all. Masking and angles play a big role on how one detector or coils sees an object compared to another. GL/HH my friend.

Yeah, It was an older gentleman who regretted his most recent purchase. I was only a few days into researching detectors and thought perhaps another great deal would come along once I had a better knowledge!! Lol

Thanks Eric. I really like the F44. You can set a tone option for each category like the Omega 8500...a feature I REALLY like on a detector.
She is feeling a bit better but still in alot of pain. We are heading to an ortho doctor tomorrow to check the new xrays. It was a pretty bad break.
Hey Hunter. Great video. Hey , I have a f22 and have very good luck with it. It also goes pretty deep. However it just has a 9 inch coil. I've been looking hard at the f44 . Would it be better to just get a bigger coil for my f22 , or is the 44 a much better machine all around.
F44 adds ground balancing and all-metal mode. I never use all-metal unless gold prospecting...so it is not a feature I personally rely on. If you are getting good depth it sounds like your soil is fairly good. So ground balancing gains might be minimal. In rougher soils (high or low) F44 would likely be deeper than the F22 by an inch or two. I would personally get a larger coil. I feel moving to the F44 would be more of a step sideways (or diagonally perhaps) than it would be upwards.
I want to buy a deep detector. I stopped at 3 models from Fisher .... Fisher F5, Fisher F19 and Fisher F44. Which good choice ???

I've been using the Fisher f44 lately instead of my Fisher f22.
What volume and sensitivity levels do you run it on?
Tennessee Adventures I usually run full sens and volume 10 so I don't hear iron.

I totally agree how you said because one machine finds something in an area where another machine had been but didn't doesn't mean one is a better machine than another. You see talk like that in the forums all the time. It's nonsense.
Very much nonsense. Just placing a different coil on the same machine can open a spot back up due to target masking and separation. I have a buddy with a CTX3030 who misses stuff that my T2 or Patriot finds....and vice versa. Very eye opening for both of us.
TheHunterGT yep, same with my AT Pro,DFX,MX Sport,Classic ID and Quick Draw Pro. The Fisher F75,F19 or Technetics T2 is my next machine. Which of those do you think would be best for Relics? I want to try more First Texas machines.
For relics - the T2 is one of the best there is. My wife has the F19 and it rivals the T2 in everything but depth. Both have very fast recovery speeds, great separation, and great unmasking. T2 just goes a couple inches deeper.
F75 is great for relics too - but since iron breaks at 15 instead of 40 like the T2/F19....I prefer it for coins and jewelry hunting since the mid range and high range is expanded.
If I picked 1 of the 3 for relics...it would be the T2.
What is your favorite metal detector?
The T2 Classic is probably my favorite if I had to pick just one. However - the Patriot is a VERY close second since it takes both concentric and DD coils and is pretty damn close in performance. T2 only takes DD coils.

I like your review videos as I am trying to get away from using my ace250. Looking for one that works well on beach sand better then the tracker iv. Any suggestions?
The Garrett AT Pro works great on beaches. It is an expensive machine. But well worth the money.
No single freq VLF is going to perform great in the wet salt-water. You need a mutli-freq VLF, a PI, or a FBS machine.
The Patriot smoked the AT Pro in the head to head video I did....so I will assume it will beat it on the beach as well. Only thing it has over the Patriot is the waterproofing...which obviously can be handy on a wet beach if you plan on going into the water.
Neither will be able to compare to a CZ21 or the likes. However - If you stick to the dry sand you should be just fine with most single freq VLFs.
Florida has very inert sand...so you will do better there than a West Coast beach that is full of minerals.
I guess for now I will use the tracker4 until I can afford a high end detector. I still am thinking on getting a teknetics just not sure on which one. Thanks for your reply and happy hunting.
