      Most of Florida is near sea level. Flooding is normal here.

    Absolutely too much building is right. Concrete doesnt absorb water. All about greed.

      @@dannyboyd1299 Concrete surface offers less friction than natural soil surface which increases flooding. Might want to do some research before laughing this off.

    The biggest problem is the cities and counties are not doing proper maintenance on the storm drains and canals. Tidal drainage is also a big concern. At high tide, the water is going to rise...

      More! 5th generation native to the state of Florida. We were a lot more soggy than these. Below Tampa and Orlando was swamp land.

    I've lived in the Bay area for 40 years. It's always been like this. Some areas flood. We deal with it.

    People needs to be inside when it rains. Just out riding around for nothing, not like they working. State needs to close restaurant and stores so people can stay off the road.

    It NEVER ceases to amaze me how STUPID people survive. Driving your HOT engine through COLD water and get mad when they end up at the shop because they cracked their engine block. Electronics don't like water either. 😒🫤

      Floridians aren’t the smartest people I’ve met. I don’t know why they find floods surprising when most of Florida is near sea level. I lived here for 3 years and it amazes me how dumb people are here.
