Hope Sergachev is ok. Hate to see what happened to him.
Vesey's backhand snipe was nice. Real nice.
The Sergachev situation is so unfair and tragic. Really hope it looks worse than it is. I hope he is somehow able to recover and return this season but I doubt it. He is a great guy and a warrior on the ice

They listed him as a DTD even though he was just coming back from a IR-LT so who knows. We'll know after tonight.

Honestly I think it’s smart to give quick these starts. Give Igor the next three starts against some pretty low tier teams to get some confidence back. He has it in him to be the best in the world. Maybe just a mental thing.

Mr. Vesey with a two goal night and that first one was a brutally efficient backhander and look at Mr. Kucherov skating 22 shifts and earning an assist, I suppose his all star weekend vacation extravaganza play is not indicative of how he actually plays the game, lol

Collided into lafreniere and something happened to his leg. He had to be taken off on a stretcher.

@@NYRangers520essentially, Sergy's skate picked the ice when he went in to check Laffy, Laffy reverse hit Sergy, and then Laffy's skate caught Sergy's calf on his way down..
Sergy's knee and ankle both went the wrong direction on the play. Just brutal after Sergy's first game back from a 17 game absence from blocking a shot with his foot.
@@DavePainkilleri didnt think it wasnt laffys skate, i thought serg landed on his own leg. Either way super unfortunate play.
