I had a Bernese (RIP Moosie 😞 ) and she was the best weighted blanket I had. She HAD to be on my whenever I wasn't standing. She was 125 pounds of pure love.

Not gonna get another? Show me anything fluffier than a Bernese pup! I think once you have had a dog, it's sort of, like,.... empty (?) not having another.... the loss can be difficult for some people though. There's that to consider I suppose. But I cannot imagine being happy without a dog. Maybe I'm weird. I don't know
@@dscrappylocogolani9555 I have 4 other pups (rescues, Moosie was too). She broke my heart. I knew they had shorter life spans, but I made myself believe she was going to beat the odds. She was 4 months shy of 12, which from what I heard, is much older than most live. I was blessed with her for 8 years though...

I needed this today. The sitting there watching the popcorn pop in hopes some flys out towards them just made me smile.
To be honest I do that myself when I prepare popcorn, I catch anyone of them if I spot one flying out :)

Bernese Mountain Dogs are gorgeous and such beautiful personalities…I loved a Berner that was named Argo, he is now gone but I think of him often and smile in delight when I see the spirit of Argo in other Berners.

You got dog kids I had a dog once that my third cat helped raise and have two cats now. Our pets are like our kids because they are. Your dog kids are adorable!
They’re easy animals. And raising them is nothing like raising children.
@@WilliamsPinch Oh I beg to differ! Like kids they need a doctor and vaccinations. Some Vets do dentistry, pets need to have their teeth and gums monitored or pulled like kids. Like kids cats and dogs have to learn to get along with people. Like kids, and I’ve had a dog and on my 44th year of having cats, both always test just like kids to see what they can get away with. Both cats and dogs need to learn trust like kids and form that bond. And when your pet dies, the grief is no different than when a child passes. I have two cats now. Like my brother who was more dominant, my boy cat is dominant. I didn’t put up with a lot of things from my brother, and my girl cat won’t be bullied by her cat brother either. Same with human kids. Children have different personalities so do dogs and cats. And depending on that personality is how you treat them. There’s no difference.

Velcro, yes...but y'all are supposed to be the pack leaders and set boundaries, something your future kids will need. Keep your love and fun, but add in those boundaries.

If people spent that much time with their human kids the world would be a way better place.

Bad bahavior encouraged by the owner. Guest might not be so charmed. And when the dogs are used to stealing food from the table one day they might take something that is really bad for them. Or they can even develop a food aggression and turn it into a dominance battle. My advice would be to make the tabletop and countertops a no go zone right from the start when they are still a puppy.
