Spirit has Jackie's lungs and has Shadow's nesting maintenance abilities.
Spirt attacked that fulff that Jackie brought like she hadn't been feed in a week. Jackie should count her toes to make sure she still has all of them.
Spirit is definitely Shadows little girl. She placed those sticks in just the right places in the nest. She is so much like her daddy. Love her!❤️🦅
I agree! She’s learned good stick placement from her daddy. She’s going to make somebird an excellent mate! Who knows, maybe the young eagle seen on the dock a few days back could be suitable suitor 😄
Spirit hates when Mom or Dad start doing the nighttime nest turndown prep😲 She was relaxing enjoying her friends the swallow's flying maneuvers & got rudely interrupted by Mom🤣
Spirit is adorable - I guess she’s stick girl and takes after daddy shadow. I always see her rearranging the sticks on “her” nest 😂

The swallows swarm was interesting, such lovely little birds. Spirit has learned how to throw fits in very dramatic form and J&S just take them in stride. I love her posing on her favorite back porch but would really love to see her on the front porch. Thanks, Cali.

LOL Looks like Spirit was filling up that hole Jackie poked in the nest and using that clump of grass she brought. "Don't be putting holes in my bed!" Too funny! "Go get me something to eat!" Spirit is sooo big!

Spirit is a phenomenal bird. I compare her development with a few other chicks and she’s amazing - alert, intelligent, engaged…and vocal, of course lol
I remember when Jackie used fluff like a blanket to cover Spirit. I was amazed at how the fluff unfolded as Jackie covered Spirit.
I hope Spirit catches a fish and brings it to the nest before she moves out completely.
She doesn't like daddy messing and rearranging her bed.
Bet Jackie & Shadow are very much looking forward to the summer at this point

what the hell are you bringing more limbs in here for.. I don't want any more of that crap in my nest - you hear me !!! and another thing; I want big tender tasty trout fishes brought to me on a daily basis so as to satisfy my taste buds !!!!

@@CaliCondor I just can't remember hearing it from the nest. Anytime I spent in Big Bear was spent around Boulder Bay and the South Shore. I don't know what's up there around the nest but I'm assuming it was coming from pretty far away and it sounded like live music. If one of the eagles had started dancing to the music like a parrot does I would have died
Most nest have sticks around the outer part and soft fluff in the center... this nest is always solid sticks ... is it hard to find fluff in this area of the USA???? I always think this is not really comfy for sweet spirit 😞😢
It's funny because it was plenty comfy for her to grow into a big strong eagle. Early on people complained there wasn't nearly enough fluff. Then people complained there was way too much fluff, LOL. These eagles must know more than we do about nest building.
