When I wake up to seeing you, knivesFAST, and Big Red EDC all put out videos. I didn’t know which one to choose. It’s like I’m a little boy again, waking up on Christmas Day.
In certain applications single-side and open-face bearings go in a certain way. It allows for when you're greasing equipment for the grease to flow into multiple bearings. With our knives...I have yet to see a difference in how the bearings face. I've put them in with the open side towards the blade and towards the liners on a knife and haven't' seen a difference in action yet. They always feel the same. I think with these small bearings and how the action operates on a knife, you wouldn't notice any difference regardless of how the bearing faces.

I’ve been a fan of Eafengrow knives for a while now. I’ve been curious about this model for a while. I think the biggest downfall for me though is that the pocket clip needs to be deep carry.

Love this knife. I have the exact same model, and I RIT dyed the scales black. They took the dye extremely well and it looks amazing. The crazy thing is, the action on this knife is the best out of my entire collection. It’s better than my $350+ knives. I just don’t understand it, but I love it.

I've got a couple of their knives. They are supposed to be in D2 but may not be. Some of their older knives sold as D2 ended up not being actual D2. I really like the them in some ways. They have cool designs and are pretty solid feeling. One isn't very smooth as far as it's action is concerned and their finishing isn't that great. One of them is like a wide drop point tanto with a recurve. It's one of the coolest blade design's I've ever seen. I bought it even after finding out the steel is suspect. You are 100% correct as far as the D2 issues are concerned. They are still razor sharp and cut well and for the price are still good deals imo. The one in this video seems to be a good one. I like the thick handle and how the blade disappears inside the handle when closed. I like the blade too. For twenty dollars it seems like a bargain.
Good morning! Well said. I really like that input! I'm with you on how the blade disappears. It gives it a nice, clean look. Have an awesome day, my friend!
@@BeezBlades I just remembered that I've got another blade from EF. It's got kind of a cleaver type blade and a really weird handle. "Pow, right in the kisser!" The slotted screw head was a surprise. I own one Kershaw with a slotted screw, but otherwise all are Torx. The blue one looks great! I'd prefer this over the CEO. Thanks Beez!

Very nice blade. Just got mine. Nice texture. Looks like it's the big brother to my smaller CRKT. I like the long thin knives that are very simple well-made. Nice looking & handles well. 👍🏽.

Ergos… i have carried a pocket knife for over 50 years… EVERY DAY! I always have at least 2 or 3 knives on me… ALWAYS! I tend to rarely use a hammer grip. Even with a good amount of bush crafting… for the most part i use a hand shake grip. With pocket knife size knives.
"Pow, right in the kisser!"
The slotted screw head was a surprise. I own one Kershaw with a slotted screw, but otherwise all are Torx.
The blue one looks great! I'd prefer this over the CEO. Thanks Beez!
You're welcome, brother! POW! Right in the kisser!
You can fix the clip by taking it off and put it on the anvil end on your vice and change its angle
This would be a good one to try that on!
I have 2 EF knives the 970 and the 922,like them both
They are definitely solid, and well-built!
I ordered the CRKT CEO compact thay sound very here in a day or two. The blue/grey looking one. I mainly get knives on the bigger side bordering on overbuilt. I've got a Bestech Operator showing up tomorrow, you know that thing is a beast. I decided I wanted something different. I don't even have it yet but I'm already falling in love with the CEO/gentleman's style knife. Maybe I'll add this to the list. I'm really liking the Boker mini quaiken too.
I definitely like having all the different styles. There are some days when you want a smaller knife, and some that you want one that's clippable in the shirt pocket. I usually have a CEO clipped in my shirt pocket and don't even remember it's there. I'm going to have to check out that Boker.
The pocket clip is carbon steel & does darken nicely with a couple coats of cold blue.
Thanks you for another wonderful video boss.
You are very welcome!
Love that you can laugh at yourself, glad you didn't edit it out.👍
😅 I just laughed again thinking about it. I looked at it and was like.. uhhhhhh😂
I got the ST125 and a Tunafire that has a utility style warncliff like the penguin . I want the ruike but $$$$ .
Yup, definitely ordering the jade in this guy.
I sure would like to have the special edition black for one. LOL
Thanks Beez for sharing
Have you done any Daggerr knives?
I like it. I would totally buy one to add to my sub collection of long, skinny, straight line "CEO" style knives
Love the knife. Your phrase I think is VERY COOL VERY COOL
Gonna have to pick one of these up. It's gonna be my steakhouse knife.
A nice ice pick. I have a few EF knives, they are hard to beat for the money.
I think they are great budget knives.
I do have a precious few “”expensive”” knives! 1 $200 knife.. a few $75 to $100 knives but the majority of my edc pocket knives are 50 or less range. Because there so many good budget knives! Big blades… thats a different story! Im a HUGE FAN of Zombie Tools! 4 swords & 2 big blades& 1 axe!
Morning Beez. Congrats on 15k first of all 🎉👍 I think I was looking at this one. Not bad for the price.👍 Thanks for the video. Have good week.
15K
Morning Dwayne!! Thank you!!
Looks like a nice compact design
is it possible that you mixed up the pocketclip screws ? i was afraid one would touch the blade.
Wholly Cow! You busted 15K. Congrats Beez, moving uptown.
Woot woot! Paaarrrtaaay! 🎊🎉🎉. Good morning TopDog! 😃 Thank you!
That is a good looking knife and I really love that natural gten and can't beat that price
And love how you don't edit out your mess ups
You knew we would get a budget knife soon 😃
It would have looked pretty funny with the spine coming out of the handle 😂😂😂
Welcome.. I like seeing 20$ and worth it combined.. ;)
GDI Beez I am trying to to add to the collection and you put stuff like this up
Just got my Spyderco Manix 2 and it is not as fidget worthy as the one you play with on some videos. Hopefully it will get better with use.
Good morning thanks for the content
Good morning! You are very welcome!
I've considered this knife many times! You might have just pushed my over the edge on it!
Not an expert, but I belive that you should put in the screws on the pocket clip the other way??? (The longer one at the back)
Anyway, hello from Slovenia and I've got to say, looks really good for 20$
Keeping me entertained while laundry runs
very nice for the price. Great video Beez 👍
Very nice blade. Just got mine. Nice texture. Looks like it's the big brother to my smaller CRKT. I like the long thin knives that are very simple well-made. Nice looking & handles well. 👍🏽.
I only have about 400 knives but after watching this, of course I...Bought one. Dog gone your hide! lol
