#LGVelvet #LG #Velvet Наука
Hey guys! Just a quick unboxing here. Do you guys like this kind of video? Very curious to know - new territory for me. Have a great Friday!
Never knew you had your own channel!
I feel unboxing could be included in the regular review, good video though👍🏽. And i wish the V60 had this design 😩
I expected to see the accessories in the unboxing as well. The cases and the Stylus could have been shown in the video.
Platinum X Haha, technically, yeah! I’ll upload there eventually. I’ve just been going back and forth on what I want it to be etc.
Shiva Prasad For sure, good feedback, thank you!
I actually really like the LG Velvet's look. Not having an outline around the camera grouping is just different enough to make it stand out from all other phones. I think the whole thing looks beautiful.
I do not like the front with its curved screen and the U-shaped notch. makes it a bit too unsymmetrical for me.
I absolutely hate those huge camera squares on the back so this looks so nice
The back looks amazing imo, the notch on the front ruins it for me though. But this is LG. The hardware design was only one of their flaws, software looks the same, which is not good.
@@kdog350 well at least you can put a cover on them to prevent scratches. This thing.. it's gonna get fucked up
@@karandev9316 same, theybe shpuldve gone for a Punch Hole Camera Instead, atleast it would make Aesthetically pleasing on its front end
Things I use the dual screen for: reading while managing a playlist, gaming with the full screen keyboard (gba emulator), whale browser shopping, RUclips while reading/researching, keeping notes while researching, tent style kickstand, selfie kickstand
Once you get used to having it you don't want to go back to a phone without the option
i saw a video of someone using the v60 to emulate 3ds on citra with the touch screen and controls on the second screen
LG's detachable secondary DualScreen case is the reason why I sold my Samsung Galaxy Fold in favour of the V50 ThinQ 5G. I definitely should have buy the LG in the first place.
It's gorgeous but the software is what they should really be focusing on
and if it would take about two hours
and the other side

So to go do go do do do go
Who else miss LG g flex? I miss that segment hardly. I wish they reproduce LG g flex 2020😊
The flex was original, durable, just a great phone all around. Only problem the flex had back then... Snapdragon 810.
I skipped it for the nexus 5x :(
Yea that was a nice looking phone. The lg g4 had a similar footprint
Tuja baap pani thevla ka bc .... bhangar phn hota g flex chutiya saala
hands down the best phone I have ever owned, I miss when LG was quirky with their phones, but the thing is I bought that phone with android 4.2.2 and it never received any updates, not even security patches, LG is terrible with software updates but otherwise they were the most innovative brand in the smartphone scene.
A new design, besides the notch, that I am really happy to see. Very premium looking with good specs!
which specs?
Ahh The UI might let this phone down.
Why don't manufacturers make two variants, one with their custom skin and one with android one/stock android.
That would be too expensive best option would be to let users choice when they set up the phone like Asus.
Google experimented with that like 6-7 years ago with google play edition of some phones but program was discontinued quickly~ failed to gain traction or popularity. The spiritual successor to the program is google one program.
just use an AOSP rom
WTF LG UX is the best
@@arnold_m_xavier Doubt
The design looks so good and different in the current market where manufacturers are only concerned about the number of cameras they put on the back and how curved the screen should be.
@SANDEEP KUMAR well macro camera is fine, what is really unnecessary is the oneplus colour filter camera😂
@@manavgupta522 I found that a bummer. If OnePlus treated that camera as an ND filter, it would be like Nokia 808 PureView all over again.
The design's pretty cool....
Looks elegant....
LG SERIOUSLY HAS DONE AN EXCELLENT JOB
THAT PHONE LOOKS GORGEOUS WORTH OWNING
💯💯💯
Ngl I want them to do well. I just wanna see LG back in the market.
Also, why am I so early? This is weird
Same,Most Flagships nowadays sucks arse when it comes to Functionality & Utilitarianism, due to most of them ommiting a pretty "Outdated" yet Significant Hardware
I really like this off-the-cuff style of unboxing! Feels like we're experiencing the phone with you, which is very nice :)
Tuja aaicha puccha
I think it looks gorgeous. It has everything I want from a phone (Sd card + 3.5mm) and the dual screen is just wow. I'm seriously considering buying it.
And if you buy the bamboo pen you can draw on it with presure sensitivity wich is super great
Thank you for the first look! Looking forward to hearing an in-depth review 🙂
LG Velvet looks really good especially with UX 9.1 running on it. Love the icons LG.
Lg gang, where y'all at? Rocking the V40 over here 😏
im still kicking with my v40
G6+ but damn this one is getting dated and slow
@@baoh29able look at ebay, g7s for sale for under $100
LG V20 here!
V60 here and loving it! I've had the v20, v35, v40 and the g7 and now the v60. LG for the win!
As a med sudent who just graduated, I can say I usually find myself using dual window especially when studying, pdf and gallery open. I'm still using huawei p10 plus which has that mode.
That dual screen is definitely useful for students.
I like the camera setup, love to see 3.5mm jack
Good to see coverage on the Velvet. Great video guys, also awesome job David. PS This is Shloke
I like the backdoor design... Soo beautiful
I literally love lg i have got lg g5-g7 v30+ and q stylus all are working fine
I honestly believed that you hated it from the tone of your voice during the unboxing, glad you made it clear you are excited to review it
Review of that brochure was in fact great.
Does this version have a quad DAC? Does it have face unlock? Thanks!
That design looks so gorgeous.
Whatttt!!! It's a dual screen too. That's pretty awesome, been loving my v60 dual screen.
I know 2020 doesn't have a high bar at present but this has to be the nicest looking phone so far. If I had to buy a new phone this year I would be seriously considering the Velvet.
David rocking that quarantine hair style. Nice.
The packaging was great. Hopefully those cases will be available on the market as well
I'm having lg g6 camera is just dope and the pictures gets blurry when we zoom hope this works atlest fine as per the specifications
That Notification shade looked awesome
How is over all performance, is processor affecting overall experience, I wish you talk more about in the full review
I really like the design of it
I love the unique design.
The lg velvet design is fine and the machine itself is good, but it has blown away at a high price for performance.
*I'd buy this in a heartbeat*
Go on then
Phone looks & feel Awesome for sure. Awaiting for ur full review.
Same here, not a fan of screen notch, droplets, punch holes. Preferred a thin layer of bazel to accommodate any tech or camera.
- Edges don't seem very symmetrical
- UI is unchanged.
- Notch from a 2018 Chinese phone.
- Midrange chipset
Unpopular Opinion : hole punch as intrusive as a notch especially if it's not at the centre. It makes it somehow worse than the notch
@@taryarwinhtet7653 it's not the extra pixels make a huge difference
I'm switching from LG to the new Sony Xperia 1 II but it's nice to see them doing well and shaking things up a bit
The specific colour is sooooooo awesome 👍👌
This phone looks gorgeous. I currently use a LG V40 and I am still happy with it, my next phone will probably be a LG V70 once it is released (which will hopefully also be available with the option of a dual screen).
when will the dual screen and pen be tested with it?
Lg is finally in the race.
This phone looks good 🙂 looking forward to the full review.
As much as I like the Velvet, I cannot help but thinking that last year's V50 is still a great buy.
I'm impressed. Price permitting it could be a midrange attraction
I know I'm late to the party, but anyone know how to get the velvet with the dual screen from Verizon, I can only find the phone
What's wrong with the UI? The small part I could see of you testing it showed something very close to stock android.
So you don't like androids default UI?
After a very long time I'm excited for a LG phone
I'ma upgrade from Note 8 to either this or the V60. LG seems to be doing some nice stuff. Keeping headphone jack with that nice audio, the dual screen thing, and the price isn't gonna put me on the streets lol.
Yep, fresh design is a welcome
I certainly hope Floss Is one of the 15 " chosen ones" to get this phone.. no yawning in Floss videos ever. U know the procedure
Yes! He is one of the chosen ones.😁
He was
Wow what a look
It's so awesome
How is compare to the S20+? Got 120z? Can't see leaving the Samsung S/note for this thing.
I was expecting more from this video like use of the dual screen and other cases too
It looks fantastic
What was that white dot bouncing around when he pulled out the drawer from the box?
Does LG frequently updates it phones with OS n Security Updates ?
Do they come with dual sim? Is the storage expandable? You don't mention these things in your review video or this video
Plz upload the unboxing of nokia 8.3 plz plz I m waiting for it it not uploaded on RUclips yet
It looks gorgeous! 🤩🤩
So when are we going to get a Velvet Mini?
Finally lg with a dope LG product!!lgnis back but it's Xperia m II for me
This is refreshing. After seeing nothing but videos talking iPhones and Galaxies, it's nice to see something on a different manufacturer. When the Pixel 5 drops, I wonder if I should stay with Google or try the Motorola Edge+, or this baby. The camera on the Velvet needs to be as good as the Pixel.
Design of the year.. Excellent work by LG Team👌👌
If the smartphone is from LG, it will have a headphone jack. At least as of now.
But does it have a DAC?
@@machtschnell7452 I think so. However I am not sure.
The bezels are thick, the UI needs some refinements, the ultrawide sensor is only 8MP like really at least use 12MP.
Do you have to buy 2 screens or can you use it as a single phone?
The new LG phone looks nice and cool I like it
Pretty cool. Design is nice.
LG Velvet looks awesome. I hope comes with US bands and decently priced because I would love to have one. Does the one reviewed have US bands for AT&T (GSM) phones?
Yes that headphone jack. LG DACs are really good on their phones soo pretty good deiver for good iems
Cool phone. I don't mind the notch, but the UI...yeah
Hope you test 5G X52 Modem against X55 modem in One+ 8 Pro. Bench marks did not look that good for X52.
Interestingly it is dual screen capable. It would be nice if 2nd screen had an additional battery or even selfie for ID.
The Velvet looks very unique and beautiful for a $600 Mid-range phone. Hope it comes to the U.S. soon!
Is this coming to the north american market? Asia and europe always gets the best phones
I think new black is possibly a play on words. Nubuck is a typle of Leather and i think velvet is too.
snapdragon 765g? is this one a new processor?i never heard of it.
Why do they always get this guy to cover LG products he's so biased 🥴
Why didn't you show the dual screen mode? I wanted to see it so bad
I hope if you could make a full review of honor x10 5g
I like the style of the velvet '!!
Howwww did they not make a special edition velvet cover?
Thank God LG has been keeping the headphone jack.. if u have a good pair of headphone (with 3,5mm jack).. u wont believe so many phone maker are too brave to ditched it off.. especially when u can put on 32bit dac..
Other than the pricing it seems like a pretty cool 📱
Does it have hifi audio?
You finally do your videos in 2:1 nice
I like it, it's pretty cool and as far as features go it has more than enough, wish I waited for it before I got my other phone so ya bummer.
Looks pretty nice !!!
If ever i have one, I'll use it for computing.
Is it waterproof and with wireless charging ? If so, i'm on board !
May you do a review on the software
That phone is real beauty😍😍
i think LG did a good job on the design but as for the pricing? That's too expensive when looking the specs of it
Hope it will launch in India soon !
Which you choose, LG Velvet or Nokia 8.3?
I think I want this one
Does it have an audio DAC
Unexplainable but no! And that is the big part of the problem with this phone. It's only and all about design.
I'm loving mines it's so thin n beautiful 🥰🥰🥰
