Geeezz ... just when I thought it was over for the year😐I moved to Texas years ago, originally from New York, lived in Buffalo and Brooklyn, and just wanted to get away from that weather up there, but at least it's not as bad down here🙂
I moved here in 2000 in time to experience a record hot September ( over 100 degrees for multiple days) My first real experience with an ice storm was more than 10 years ago when my oak tree lost a big branch and power went out. Used to live in Colorado and HATED the cold winters. Maybe Calif and Arizona weather is more to my liking
My family and I are originally from nyc/nj and moved to the south 7 years ago, moved here from Ga last year the weekend of the snow storm, im running away from the snow and im feeling chased lol.
Me moving from Cleveland thinking I’m escaping the snow 💀💀 and it’s already bad enough that these Texans don’t know how to drive, and they put sand instead of salt on the ground 😭😭
My husband works for Texas DOT and they have been making brine for two days straight and putting on the roads. He will be working all night long until the morning to keep the roads safe.
I just made it to where I was headed and yes there is ice on the roads
Have a safe trip back. I feel this is the most dangerous time because the icy spots tend to sneak up on you. Be careful out there.
It’s sad I hope everyone is safe and no deaths were reported
Stay safe and warm 🙏
Freezing mist now sticking to patio and tool shed roof in Arlington.

And I got to go n2 this mess. I'll be the guy driving 30 mph and living in the right hand lane.
