Full Moon, Tallulah, Shamandalie, Flag In the Ground, Last Drop Falls, Paid In Full, Don't Say a Word... These guys have a ton of ridiculously good songs to choose from. Each of them tells a story.
Also Cloud Factory, What did you do in the War Dad, the Cage, Wildfire, and (if you want to cry) Under Your Tree
Toni's vocals have developed into something truly wonderful...I know a little morsel of it since we were in the same class in elementary school and played a lot of cards in upper secondary school :D actually spent some cooool nights with them listening to them practise when the band had a totally different name and they were just starting their musical journey...
jesus, I envy you. You were there when they were playing together the first times. Was it when they were calle tricky beans or even before that?
2 years late but holy shit that's so cool dude!
Northern Kings "Heavy Medal Medley". It has Marco from Nightwish, Tony from Sonata Arctica, and JP Leppäluoto singing a medley of six metal songs by Finnish bands, including their own.
Sonata arctica is one of my favorite bands!! You guys should check out the song Juliet, Don't say a word or Wolf and Raven... They're amazing!
No Fullmoon? What?
@@aegonthedragon6341 Of course, I love it! but someone already had mentioned it in the comments...
@@aegonthedragon6341 you do know they have other songs right??
@@NeeceLoneWolf Noooo!!! Fullmoon ;)
@@aegonthedragon6341 Everybody does Full Moon, they need to be more original and do songs like Juliet, Don't Say A Word, Draw Me, Broken, Shamandalie, The End of This Chapter...
I absolutely love that you guys are becoming sonata fans! they are literally my favorite band of all time
The joy you got from the keytar is so contagious!! I have loved this band for 16 years and adore watching people discover and enjoy them too!! "Dont say a word" is a good one to react to if you want more!!
Mic guitar yes. They arrange Air Guitar World Championships in Oulu Finland every year.
The band is indeed from Finland. The lead singer Tony Kakko supported Tuomas Holopainen of Nightwish after they fired Tarja. They went hiking together for example, and Tony convinced Tuomas not to bury Nightwish.
Hi from Helsinki Finland!🇫🇮
That particular hiking trip was in 2001 at the end of the Wishmaster-tour. Tuomas was going to bury Nightwish but at the end of the trip he had decided not to do it. It was also clear that Sami Vänskä had to leave the band since his lack of interest was one of the main reasons for Tuomas' frustration. At the end of year 2005 the guys were fairly positive that firing Tarja won't be the end of Nightwish.
@@villesalonen6057 ok!
Sonata Arctica was my jam during my power metal phase. I still love them even if I dont listen to power metal that much anymore
they're from Kemi, Finland.
No way! they're from Finland! what are the odds!
@@aegonthedragon6341 Yep they are from Kemi, used to see them walking around town when I lived there.
So did I, Pamela 😁
Omg this is the first song I've ever heard from them, I was around 14😭😭😭
Mine was wolf and raven
thanx pamela and thanx wolf hunters to react another sonata arctica song. ouh man they so good in live. thanx and have great day there all.
I saw Sonata Arctica live in 2016. Amazing live performance and stage presence. They opened for Nightwish.
React to fullmoon- Sonata arctica
Ah, I see you're a man of culture.
Such a banger
🤘😎🤘 hell yeah
Sonata is such a great live band. They never disappoint :)
Ah that album trilogy is amazing
Ecliptica 1999
Silence 2001
Winterheart's Guild 2003
Finnish metal diamonds.
Welcome to the SA Wolfpack. Don't Say A Word Live In Finland. I worship this band and Tony and The Wolfpack are the sweetest guys on the Internet and Universe.
Thank you. Next from Finland Poets of the Fall. Live :) One Desire (Andre Linman) Live. Battle Beast ( Noora Louhimo) Live.
Such a talented lot. Used to listen to them a ton when they were starting up in the late-90s. I was a huge fan of Yngwie Malmsteen, so this was a fitting addition to my record collection back then. I was big on Stratovarius and Sentenced as well. Bit of Helloween and Lacuna coil...
Keep the Sonata reactions coming!!! You should check out the cage. One of the best song intros ever! 🤘🤘🤘
I know, this is a year old reaction, but only now found it. The singer Tony Kakko originally both sang lead and played keyboards before concentrating on vocals. On their first album Kakko plays all the keyboards. On the studio version of this song he plays all the keyboard parts including the fast arpeggio over bass & drums as their then keyboardist left the band before recordings started.
If you like Sonata Artica you will like other Finn band Stratovarius - Black Diamond Singer Timo Kotipelto is so so GOOD
I dont know if i enjoyed the performance more....or Jons expressions more throughout the song😏😂
The best band.
Another great reaction thankyou. They are another great finnish band.
The one the did in the "For the Sake of Revenge - Live DVD" was a soooooo much powerful performance, and they had Jani Liimatainen in the guitars. Man! that was a venue to remember!
Nice reaction tho! :)
I'm a big fan my wedding song was love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤘😎🤘
Sonata Arctica!!! Fullmoon next! 😆
They are from Finland 🎉🇫🇮
Sonata Arctica is from Kemi, Finland. My childhood town.
That Sonata double kick
You can thank Tony for Nightwish, he convinced Tuomas to continue with the band after the seperation from Tarja!!! If not for him we would have no Nightwish with Floor( what a depressing thought!!!!). The Finns make great music, I swear it is in the air or something. Between Finnish bands, Dutch singing Goddesses, and Japanese musicians you wonder if there is some special diet at work (LOL)!!! Great reaction guys. If you are interested the lead guitarist left the band and formed The Dark Element and they have Annette (2nd Nightwish vocalist) as their lead vocalist. It seems those Finns can write a regular blah song, no everything is a story and epic adventure.
No, it wasn't 2005, actually the hiking Tony and Tuomas did was right before Sammy Vänskä firing, 2001 I think...
Sonata Arctica is my favorite band
When I saw Sonata Arctica I was a little surprised to see the Keytar, and even more surprised when I heard it. Keytar got a bad rap back in the day, I'm glad to see it coming back around.
Sonata is live. Please react "Juliet" live in Finland. ♥️
damn og no playbacks banged
They are from Finland!
For more guitar and keytar unisons, go and check out Sonatas Black Sheep (from The Sake Of Revenge -dvd)!
It's funny how you guys are called "Wolfhunters" - because Sonata Arctica always has (at least) one song about wolves in every album! :D It's a running joke in the band: if they can't think of any more songs, they will "make another wolf-song"
I love you guys big hugs fir ya
Hey but what about Amorphis???
Amorphis 😍❤️
Yeah they need to do Amongst the Stars for sure.
@@mormacil or The Bee or Message in the Amber or Wrong Direction....
The Bee first, and then everything else 😁
But actually secretly the best song is: Brother Moon. Most underrated song in history of metal.
They are from Finland
"it was planned, somehow..."
The composers are the true conspirateurs.
Also, Beethoven's Fifth was an inside job.
More Sonata Arctica Please!!
React to Sonata arctica - Dont say a word
For the Sake of Revenge is so much a better concert, but this DVD is solid
And Henrik smashing the keytar.
@@pamelakilponen3682 Henkka Keytar solos FTW.
@@NeeceLoneWolf Yep, Henrik "Henkka" Klingenberg a passionate player .
Primal Fear " Evil Spell " . Primal Fear is one of Germany's best power metal bands going over 20 plus years.
Congrats, more metal bands from Finland, besides Nightwish - are u gonna move here soon? LOL
Ok. Had to sub!
Fear of domination : Obsession
Lord of the Lost , " Lorelei " . Keytares are involved.
Loved your friend keytars rules
🇫🇮😁🇫🇮🤘❤️🎶🎸👍
Guys, a have a song for you, Temple of Hate by Angra, a Brazilian band, from a brazilian fan! 🇧🇷🇧🇷
Best band ever, check out The End Of This Chapter
Pleaaseeee Guys you must react to the BIG BAD WOLF from the Band In this Moment ♥
😂 yes please!
React to Dimmu Borgir - Gateways (live Version)
Henrick is 1 of the greatest keyboard players on earth
You should react to The Cage by them if you really like the piano guitar lol. Really
Good song . Or black sheep also good .
You definitely have to listen to stratovarious, black diamond........
Omg i would love to see 3 of you more times !!! Could you please react to nightwish the 3 of you? 😁🤟
Does anyone feel they are ready for Wintersun?
React to full moon by Sonata Arctica awesome song!!!
Reaccionen a still loving you cover sonata arctica plis... saludos desde argentina
Magic is still there... but faded since Jani's left the boat ! 😖
You should react to the cage from the sake of revenge live dvd
La versión de For The Sake of Revenge se me hace mejor y cuando Jani todavia seguía en el grupo :"v
Please react to Wagakki Band - Senbonzakura
I'm probably the only one in the world, but it makes me so sad hearing elias play these songs instead of Jani. Jani and Henrik had such a magical chemistry, and Henrik was really the last good thing to happen to this band. If you think this is great, you won't believe what they used to sound like back in like 2005.
Basic stuff from metal capital :]
Finland
No voi perkele.
You should react Diablo - Grace under pressure
Anaal natrakh - endarkenment. C'mon guys)
Studio version is better
