- You can learn how to Crochet Sweet Simple Slippers in this DIY video tutorial. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. These crochet bedroom slippers are nice soft shoes for adults. Although soft, they are durable, plus I show how to add slip resistant products on the bottom of the footwear. This is useful when walking on hardwood floors like I have in my house.

Thank you very much for slipper method. I really liked starting at the heel and your fitting instructions allowed me to customise the sizes to fit everyone. I used a baby yarn that was like a chenille but not as thick but was very soft and suited a 4.5mm hook. I am in Aust so my yarns are not always the same. I also liked that no sewing was involved. I also added a slip st border to finish and a felt sole that I did sew on with a soft cotton yarn. Everyone loved them. They look terrific and non slip on my hardwood floors.

I've just made a pair for my husband! I used 2 strands of Aran weight yarn, a 5.5mm hook and added more rows. I chained 10 to join both sides. If I say so myself they're brilliant and my husband is prancing about in them now :) I've made them specifically for when we go away so they'll fold flat for packing into a suitcase. SO pleased I found your pattern and clear instructions. Thank you so much.

I have made several of these crochet slippers now for family members they turned out great...everyone loves them. I am going to get my son to check out your videos so that my granddaughter can learn to crochet, since you explain things in a way that is not confusing.....she is only 8 but I hope she at least give crochet a go. I hated crochet when I was growing up, family members would try to teach me, but I could never understand what they were trying to teach...LOL. It seemed complicated. They taught me knitting which I took too. Found your channel and learned the basic.. in crochet a few years ago not sure how long ago now and because you are so clear on your videos I actually learned to crochet, and I LOVE it, even more than knitting. Donna Wolfe, I really enjoyed working up a pair of slippers with you. You're an excellent teacher. I don't mean to offend or hurt anyone's feelings but, sometimes instructors/teachers are too wordy, too much unnecessary information. I think those type of teachers would be best in teaching beginners how to crochet, the basics.

You've explained everything beautifully. Also excellent close up and clear camera work which I really appreciate. I love how you start at the heel and that double threads are used. The reasons I've never made slippers before was because I was concerned about someone slipping. I really appreciate the aquarium silicone or puff paint idea. Many thanks to you 😁💜
