Here we are again. Last fall I saw your video and I made two pairs of slippers just before I moved to Washington state and I have worn the slippers to pair every single day since I’ve been here at least every week I look at them and say oh my God this was the best thing I did. my feet have been warm and cozy. They are never cold. The slippers can accommodate a pair of medium weight Marina wool socks. Anybody who’s watching this? This could be an amazing gift to yourself. I think each slipper took me about half a day. I’m not the fastest crochet and I can only do it for so long because I get carpal tunnel inflammation. But these were awesome thank you so much for the lessons. I will be making some more pairs this autumn. I think I’m gonna make slipper-booties this year.
Wow! I tried 5 different slipper videos and this is the ONLY one where I didn't mess up. Thank you so much for your great instructions! I'm very happy with the results :)
Great video and very easy thank you. As I crocheted was I supposed to leave it inside out so that when I got to the heel the seam would be on the inside? Because I turned it right side out as I crocheted and did the seam as you showed but it would have been on the outside
Adjusting this for baby’s to an 11 year plus me and husband these are so much fun and honestly so easy even changing colors and putting paws into them is easy just might have to make a fuzzy pair of these as well! Lovely video so helpful took me 15 mins to do each shoe about 7 for the kids we love them💕
Oh my goodness, I love these slippers. I love all of your videos, you always show us how to do the stitches, and I appreciate that. You're an awesome teacher. Thank you !
I just found your channel while searching for a slipper pattern and I must say, you are an excellent instructor and the details in your video, along with the sizes you put up in it, are great. Thank you 😊
I remember when my dad’s mom made me similar slippers. She was about my height 5’4”. When she brought them to me (she lived in CA, I was in MICHIGAN), first thing she said was”why are your feet so big?” Like I could’ve changed how I grew. I was 12, and couldn’t believe what she said. When she gave me the right size they were in that popcorn stitch: It felt like waking on marbles! I never did wear them much due to her crack about my feet were “so big”.
Hello! I am still learning a lot and I have watched a TON of tutorials but I have to say that a lot of the videos are not really great teachers but they crochet beautifully. You are a rare find, wonderful teacher, enthusiastic and talented crocheted. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. You’re a gem. I’ll let you know how my slippers come out.
You can add something rubber like the soles of flip flops or some felt material from the dollar store. You just get creative. Check out hectanooga1 channel. She has a lot of ideas.😁
Wow that's amazing, I have a passion for knitting, yet I enjoy crocheting and always wanted to know how to make the reverse single crochet. You made it so simple and you put together the slipper so fast 🙃 Thank you.
I have loved your video. Many thanks for uploading it. It is easy to understand also for non-native English speakers, as your instructions are very clear and you do not talk too much :D I had been dreaming of making slippers myself and now I can! I am thrilled!
Just completed my first crochet slipper. Thank you for this video! For the life of me the reverse sc gave me a really hard time- can't figure out why, my silly fingers I guess lol! But the project is amazing. Thank you!
I made these slippers using Lion Brand Hometown in Cincinnati Red, #6 yarn weight, 6.0 mm hook. I did change the pattern a little bit! From the ankle to the heel I crocheted a cable like stitch and they turned out beautiful.
Love it!!! you are making very easy and clear to follow thank you !!!! And thanks for using bright color yarn too ... so much better to see every stiches you do !!!!!!,
i love this pattern. i have finished my first slipper and had my daughter try it on the Large, and it didnt fit. i am using regular Red Heart 4ply yarn as a tester, should i add more stitches? its like it wasnt wide enough. i will be making the 2nd slipper and sending to a very good friend in Arizona to see if it fits her size 7 foot. thank you for all your help i greatly appreciate it :)
Love to listen to excellent teaching session to make these slippers, will definitely try and !ale these, like the edging detail, never seen that before so up for the challenge x
