Yeah, the people who hate on this thing are morons. This is like, one of if not THE best FPV drones on the market. Outside purpose built drones for niche circumstances, or people who just enjoy DIYing something. You'd be better off with 10 prupose built drones, all made for a spwcific purposw,, but the avata 2 is basically a jack of all trafes, while a master of none. If you can only have a few drones, the avata is the best single fpv drone If you just wanna buy and fly, nothing out there beats it. Maybe you lose a tiny bit of maneauverability, or speed, or acceleration, but I'd rather sacrifice that a bit when everyone else is losing signal, or changing their batteries for the third time, or lugging around a go pro adding weight and drag, and making the already non-existent battery life even shorter. The modularity and repairability isn't there, but that doesn't matter when for $50, you just get a new one. It's not like replacement parts are free, and good luck having someone send you a brand new one if you lose your custom FPV drone. I mean, don't get me wrong, you should still absolutely fly custom FPV drones AT LEAST once, but they are definitely nowhere near a "daily driver" like this is. I think people are just jealous this is so good, and don't wanna feel like a "noob consumer" from flying an easy to use, mass market drone. I think a big part of it is misguided elitism, and not wanting to admit a drone you can just run to the store and pick up 2 of them on a Tuesday, is a better drone than your custom built Frankenstein.
