I couldn't find better quality original anywhere, and this one had audio all over the place, so it's pretty impossible to make it really good. @@chardonnay5767 I'm pretty sure that mass disliker is Floorfan. Never happens with Floor videos, only with Tarja. I think that this wasn't probably published by the time of crusade 🤔
@@NightwishArena I see, it would have been a funny theory otherwise. It's sort of amazing what lengths some people go to continue hating a singer from one and a half decades ago. I mean surely it's not going to be the same 15 more years from now, right?
@@NightwishArena please don't stop doing them because of Floor fanatics, I'm also a fan of the old era!:) there are also some cool concerts from 2008 and 2009 with sweet old Anette too, from festivals, worth a remaster....It's hard to find quality shows with Nightwish from before Floor came and it's such a shame. Please continue to do them, there's not enough old concerts on the internet :)
I have seen the lowlands concert many times but this is beautiful and more clear and the sound is perfect. So continue your great work my friend. I love Tarja's songs from NW, it's my favourite era. Thanks 👍!!!
Due to the extensive radio airtime this got, Tarja's version of Nemo is the one I still hear when thinking back to this song. Bit like Anette with Amaranth. Love Floor's take on both but I also love the originals.
I don't think Floor's vocal range is particularly well suited to either of these songs. They seem to sit somewhere on the border between her "head" and "chest" voices forcing her into some vocal acrobatics that don't lend themselves very well to the songs. Still awesome that she manages to pull them off though. From a strictly technical standpoint she is no doubt the best singer Nightwish ever had, but Tarja will always be my favourite.
@@dick-gs9tb That reflects my view of the issue as well, never thought of it in quite those terms though. The songs composed with Floor's vocal abilities in mind do fit her much better. Sometimes with the older songs it does feel like Floor is doing a sort of circus performance with her high-end technical skills, simultaneously emulating an old feeling and bringing her own input where it's possible. I like her singing much more in EFMB and HN. On one hand I appreciate how much Floor paid homage to the originals, and on another I wonder how would the old songs sound like if the band essentially re-composed them for her skillset. None of the options will fully satisfy everyone.
