Thanks I was turning bolt anti clockwise needed to turn clockwise as per the information this guy said, worked a treat 👍 blade removed to clean and fit new blade thanks 👍
How come whenever I try to put my blade on and tighten it, my blade won’t spin even though it tries to... I assume I tightened it too tight and then I loosen it to finger tight and then it doesn’t spin the blade great at all...
This was helpful but my Pentagon circular saw had an additional nut/nob on the saw blade holding bolt. It needed a 6mm allen key to undo it then the next nut that I had been putting a wrench on came off. With all the dust in that nob and the fact that it was too big a hole for my 5mm allen key it look round inside not allen key shaped so I nearly striped the nut that a wrench fitted on trying to get the blade off. The reason I am leaving this comment is that there are no manuals on line any where for a Pentagon circular saw.
Too easy, i wish! that button will not hold the blade in place it strips when you try to turn the blade, the nut does not come off that easy... what else can i do?
I love the simplicity and brevity of this. Great demo. Thank you.

Thank you! So simple, and yet I needed this video haha.

GREAT video and thanks for sharing! Your videos are excellent since they are so easy to understand and you talk slowly. Thanks for your help!
Thank you! Given how tight it was my only concern was which way loosened the bolt, thanks for saving me a lot of time and possibly a stripped bolt 👍
Thank you! Out of the 5 videos I watched you were the only one who actually helped figure this out. Again, thank you!
Helped me change the blade on my saw. Thank you.
I used this information to change the blade on my circular saw. Success !!! Thank you so much!
Where did you get the tool from to take off the bolt .
@@gtpride2003, it's just a wrench, probably 7/16" or 9/16".

Good video. Thanks.
Can I ask why the loosening of the blade is in the same direction as the rotation?
do i need to really tighten the nut ?
How do you know when it's dull

Thanks for "adding" if you don't have one, use a piece of wood to keep the blade from spinning.
Thank you....

Hold the outer washer under the bolt head with a pair of channel lock pliars.
