  • With strict codes and increasing pressure to design energy efficient buildings and heating systems, every bit of savings makes a difference. In Massachusetts 25-35% of energy use in buildings comes from space heating. Typical conventional boilers have an operating efficiency of 70%-80%, unlike high efficiency condensing boilers that demonstrate a 90%-95% efficiency rating by capturing the latent heat that conventional boilers neglect. This one hour presentation will be an in-depth discussion of the technological advances, design implications, and potential savings of today's high efficient boilers.
