Oh god, I’ve just turned 60 and I’m sitting here in Glasgow blubbing my eyes out watching my lost youth being played out in front of me. What a brilliant evocative song. And all those girl punks, skins (& mods) so gorgeous, so full of attitude and strength, I will love you all forever. They really were the best of times, although we didn’t think that at the time, sh&te government, economy, no jobs, no money. (Ha ha, nothing changed there then!) But now here we are 40 odd years later and they’re back again churning out the same contrived p*sh to the youth. (Maybe we need another punk revolution). Live life to the full kids, follow your dreams, don’t be a sheep, go your own way, you can DO and will BE anything you want.
